Today we head off on our special holiday to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary with a big holiday reveal at the airport. This is our first time flying in 4 years and we're going to a very special destination!

We are Katie, Bob and JoJo (11), a family of 3 sharing our van life with you! We also have 2 older kids - Sam (24) and Jamie (22), and their respective partners Emily and Aden, and Jamie's daughter - our granddaughter Astrid!

Also, I fly economy airlines, short flights within the US so no meals. Vegan options are not good anyway so I pack my own food from home, in case of emergencies.

When I was little, I ordered a vegetarian plane meal, which comprised of a piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato. It was so bad and lacking that I asked my mother to help me write to the airline, and I suggested they serve veggie burgers and some other things. I’m not sure if my letter made any difference, but vegetarian and vegan plane meals have certainly improved since then!
I'm sure it did make a difference! When we went vegan nearly 10 years ago the options everywhere were very limited and we found our conversations with staff at restaurants and emails to businesses helped make a difference too 😊

We fly to benidorm from Newcastle soon we don't get flight food gutted but my husband surprised me for my 30th next year to Vegas and by heck I can't wait for flight food 😂 hope you have a fab time xxx

My mom used to say growing up sharing is caring so taught my kids the same 😊so nice you share with food and such . Haven’t been abroad since I was 15 lol I’m now 38 haha 😂 . Scared with all my meds I have to take and some drs have said are banned in some countries so imagine a Bridget Jones moment If go haha I know Silly. Can’t wait to see the holiday videos xx

We are both doing well thanks so much for asking. I try my best to take him out every other day as the weather is nice here in the UK. I've been giving him a bath outside so he can splash around as he likes. Apart from that there are ups and downs but we are getting on all right.
