Moving from Hard Rock to more Classical, Jon Lord's made a right decision to feature Steve Balsamo in some of his major tour. This perfomance is intentionally reducing the Rock elements slightly and Balsamo's voice is perfect for it. Love it.

Nice job but for me this song will always be Gillan's. Steve has backing vocals. Ian did it solo. When Ian was in top form, his ballsy, rock voiced performance was the essence of this song. This is just a little too pretty. Listen again to Ian during the In Rock era, live.
