Very nice! I picked this on my channel as well, the hardest part was dealing with the shear weight of the thing and that stupid weather flap! Was a nice loaner from Mr. Paradise 😀
Good evening, Love watching videos, and just wanted to tell you, that I think you’re a genius, I met some clever guys in the MLA. Like Martin newton, Jeff turner, John falle. And you are up there, with them, Congratulations on being so great……
I don't care what anyone says.. size DOES matter! ROFLMAO 🤣 pretty soon we will have 6lb bikes with 20lb locks! Squire Lock Noob has officially been Knighted! So many tips and techniques shared. Always thankful.
Yeah but what if you need a big lock. That thing may blow away in a light breeze....... Lol awesome pick brother! I'm jealous, I've wanted that lock since I saw it a few years ago. I've got the "normal" size version. Still expensive but it's not at the big boy price point.
Wow, what a magnificent beast!! (The lock obvious) enjoy end learn a lot from our "honest" picking. That's why I appreciate your channel so much. Chears mate!!
A lock that's fit for purpose! Nice picking and gutting, Ash. Thank-you! 🙂😉 I can imagine would-be felons looking for an alternative means of entry, or even going elsewhere. Lose the keys, and it would make a useful doorstop. 😉
Well that's gone some way to restoring my faith in Squire. The armoured Squire I picked last week on video (albeit a lot cheaper) put up no resistance at all. Those pins giving the anti bump feature can also be found in the new range of Latham's Hardware locks. Just to add, surprised your vice held that breast.
It would be great to see Squire trim the key handles so they could rotate past each other. As well having the two cores 'geared' together would allow one key to rotate the two cores. As well one key in one core could not turn so as to avoid reducing the security of the lock. Of course this sort of defeats the reason why they had two cores in the first place.
Hi Lock Noob, Beautiful lock and well picked as usual. If locked through a chain etc. it would definitely be a candidate for impressioning with an impressioning gun, the way it's usually done Downunder, rather than twist and rock method. Then the one key could be duplicated to open.
Guess you couldn't take your friends padlock out to the rifle range for target practice like BB and LPL did. I modified mine to install 2 keyed differently ASSA V-10 twin cores for extra picking resistance (with the help and parts from the lock designer himself at the Squire Factory).
Nice pick there. A toughie for sure. Liking the anti-bump pins: a pretty cool idea and obvs makes assessing the lifts needed from the key impractical. I wonder how effective those this pins would be against non-bumping kinetic attacks though? Not sure they would frustrate attempts with a snap gun or even and electric pick, but a nice feature all the same! Thanks as always for a great vid 😀
It's probably a dual custody lock since a single cylinder one could still turn a locking center lug of the correct diameter to off set two ballbearings would fit in the lock body of that size. Have a great day
See, now this is a good lock. I would trust that lock to keep *criminals* out. Experienced pickers like yourself? No, of course not. But then, I'd like to think I can trust most members of the locksport community not to want to steal my sh!t. This is something that a lot of pickers, like BosnianBill and, to a lesser extent, LockPickingLawyer seem not to have realised. I mean, I'm sure you're all well aware of it, but you seem to come across otherwise (not so much yourself), and it's this: by and large, criminals don't pick locks. Criminals don't bypass locks. Why bother, unless you're trying to steal the lock itself. Criminals cut locks. Criminals break locks. But criminals trying to break *this* lock? Well, if IRL was GTA, you'd have 5 stars on you inside 10 seconds. What's it take? Approximately 120 rounds of various kinds of rifle ammo, from 7.62 to 5.56, armour piercing to hollow point, and finally, 2 or 3 rounds of .50 BMG. Well, that's what it took Bill and Harry to get it open, anyways. A thoroughly entertaining short series distributed between their channels. That thing is ten pounds of Fort Knox. Still, I'd love to see who would win in a fight between Castle Squires there and Wendt's battering ra...I mean core puller. Possibly powered by an impact wrench.😂
This is such an impressive lock. So big, so heavy, and with a good bitting, a surprisingly tricky pick! 👍🔐💪😃 Let me know what you think!
Very nice! I picked this on my channel as well, the hardest part was dealing with the shear weight of the thing and that stupid weather flap! Was a nice loaner from Mr. Paradise 😀
Even with the .50 cal lockpick LPL had issues with this one. He did manage to pick it with a normal pick first though.
I have watched so many lock picking videos but yours are far more the greatest.
Locks biggest defence in the wild would be fatigue!! followed by cramp!!!
Lol
Excellent work thank you for your work
I enjoy your videos
Thanks 😊
Nice picking and lock of course.
Have a great day
Thanks 😊

I’m not quite up there with the greats yet, but I do appreciate your compliment 🙏
The perks of being a locksmith. I had this same lock to pick when someone ordered it! It had two different keys. Very good very nice!
@@ts757arse 😂 yeah it’s pretty rare to damage while spp but also the core is of course replaceable so there would have been that option.
Sweet!!

Lol
Excellent pick on an excellent lock sir! What a beast.. and I'm not talking about you Ash 😉👍
Lol
Wow thats amazing!
What a big one this week, gave a good fight, but ultimately succumbed, great video as always, many thanks for sharing and hope you have a good weekend
You too!!
wow that is one lump of a lock Ash mate well done🇬🇧😎😊👊👍
Thanks Leon!
The lock nice monster.....what a beast
Sure is
Excellent picking as always that is 1 mega beast of a lock I doubt I will ever see someone locking their bicycle up with 1😃
Might weigh more than the bike lol
Super impressive lock, pick and gut!
Thanks 😊
Very cool be safe everyone 👍
You too!

I did see a bigger working lock ABUS made a one-off of. Massive Titalium padlock
Cool video locknoob i think i will mark some of my picks up thanks for the tip
Really worth doing for some locks!
what a lock thanks again for showing such elaborate locks 👍🔒
Thanks 😊
My God that’s a big freakin lock!!!!
Bravo on the pick my dude!! Very interesting how they thinned down those pins too.
Yeah!
Wow, what a magnificent beast!! (The lock obvious) enjoy end learn a lot from our "honest" picking. That's why I appreciate your channel so much. Chears mate!!
Cheers
Totally awesome beast of a lock!!!
Great picking X2 😀
Great video!!!!
🐈⬛🐾🐈🐾🇦🇺🍻
Thanks 🙏
Well done, nicely picked, thanks for sharing. Would be fun to pick in hand i guess ;)
No, so heavy!!
That is one MASSAVE lock! Way out of my price range also. Nice job picking it.
Thanks!
It is a beast of a lock, I love it.🔒
Me too!!
Very nice big lock. Change one of the cores to another type and then you have to deal with different types of keys and picking skills.
Nice idea!
A lock that's fit for purpose! Nice picking and gutting, Ash. Thank-you! 🙂😉
I can imagine would-be felons looking for an alternative means of entry, or even going elsewhere. Lose the keys, and it would make a useful doorstop. 😉

Awesome video, sir! That is indeed a beast of a lock, and a really nice design all around. Thanks for the complete explanation, pick, and gut.
You are welcome!
I showed one of these monsters on my channel last year , I paid £250 new so the paid has gone up , it's a beautiful lock and worth the money
It’s a great collection piece!
@@LockNoob it's also a great showing people " The World's Strongest Lock " .
Well that's gone some way to restoring my faith in Squire. The armoured Squire I picked last week on video (albeit a lot cheaper) put up no resistance at all.

Some are just really easy… some not so much!!
I hope locknoob isn't putting anyone's breast in his vice 🤨😳 😅🤣
Excellent picking, and really informative about this lock. We have a couple similer but 1 cylinder only, super heavy and rings of quality. Great vid 👍
Thanks 🙏
Omg That is a big lock
Sue is!
This is actually the standard Stronghold cylinder. I would imagine a Mauer R1 would be considerably more difficult.
For sure
It would be great to see Squire trim the key handles so they could rotate past each other.
As well having the two cores 'geared' together would allow one key to rotate the two cores.
As well one key in one core could not turn so as to avoid reducing the security of the lock.
Of course this sort of defeats the reason why they had two cores in the first place.
I’d like to see that too
What keyway does this lock have what a impressive pick, excellent job
🙏

Yeah, it’s just not really effective, even for a locksmith to mess about picking one of these!
Guess you couldn't take your friends padlock out to the rifle range for target practice like BB and LPL did. I modified mine to install 2 keyed differently ASSA V-10 twin cores for extra picking resistance (with the help and parts from the lock designer himself at the Squire Factory).
Cor! Sounds awesome 😎

I think it would hold up well to an epg
It's probably a dual custody lock since a single cylinder one could still turn a locking center lug of the correct diameter to off set two ballbearings would fit in the lock body of that size.
Have a great day
Nice job! Now are you going to pick a new one right out of the package? :)
I’ll try if you buy!!!
With that lock you'd have to find an other way in. Hinges and other parts that would be easier to manipulate.
Yeah, when my shed was broken into, the crims broke the hasp and left the lock
@@LockNoob credit given where credit is due... I hope they cut themselves in the process!
Is that the same as the model LPL and Bosnian Bill shot at?
Yes, it is.
I would put 2 Abloy Protec2 core inside
Nice!
Put in 2 abloy cores inside then this will be even more evil lol
For sure!!
Didn't LPL pick this lock a while ago?
Yes!
@@ts757arse yeah him and Bosnian bill really gave it some Welly at a firing range, definitely a high quality lock!
it took some rounds of armour piercing ammo, afair :o
but I don't want to think about shipping cost, when sending this lock internationally xD
youd need an oxyacetylene tourch to get through lol
Poor lock!
