Wow, Admiral Aquilino really knows his stuff! And he's such a learned man and very eloquent! We are luck to have him at the helm - both literally and figuratively! Nice job, Admiral!

The general said that China should follow the international law of sea while USA actually signed but not passed, why?

This guy is seriously accomplished. Would be interested in someone who is knowledgeable contrasting his CV with his Chinese counterpart. Especially the balls quotient - Topgun grad vs CCP apparatchik?

So Indo Pacific is all about Taiwan and korea. If you don't care what happens in India or Indian Ocean why did you change the name?

The USA is not stupid. That is the way diplomacy and military force work together. Arms are always meant for some offensive. There is nothing like an inoffensive armament. India soon after Independence was more given to a loud mouth without a matching big stick. Indian leadership has changed drastically since 2014. We speak less and try to carry as big a stick as needed. The Taiwan issue is being handled nicely. You cater for China's ego and get ready for the day China decides to plunge into war.

It is funny that officials from US government including this commander repeatedly claim that US does not support Taiwan independence, but in reality, US just dose the opposite: sending officials to Taiwan to support independent minded government, selling offensive arms to Taiwan, sending US military personnels to train Taiwan military, and doing everything to internationalize the Taiwan issue. Do they think people are stupid, could not see US saying one thing and doing another?
