The differences I noticed: The Original(Hugh Jackman) has a tone of a rather Story Teller. Hugh treats the song as if it was ambiguous like it was more than just a song. He treated it like it was an old exciting story that were passed only through the tongues of many. (which is partially true because it is based on PT Barnum) Although as for Brendon, being a singer, he treated it as a song. He sung the song. Not hating here. Brendon adds more smoothness and a virtue showing his professionalism on singing. Due to it, Brendon featured his powerful voice into the song. Whilst Hugh featured more definition to the song.
I also feel like some of the energy is lost in Brendon's version. Like idk what it us about it but theres just no whimsy behind it at all like the original has. Personally i still think the original is the best version out there even though i worship Brendon as the god he is.
This version feels like it's a regular wonderful show night with PT Barnum and co... Then Brendon Urie rides in on a time-travelling pegasus in flight with the band suit from 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' but with a 2018 spin. He's got an electric guitar in hand and his own troupe behind him. And the two improvisingly join forces to create this beautiful, beautiful piece of music and the best damn show the people will ever see.
Noel Titus actually, brendon's talent for high notes isn't that great, he goes that high using a lot of falsetto/whistle. His none falsetto note goes up to f5, freddie goes up to g5 non falsetto, gerard way a5, lambert Bb5, of course he goes high but not super talented with it, just uses skills
I love both versions, but still love the original more. Brendon's kind of lost a few verses as well, I like the full song more. Though Brendon's is good, but I was waiting for the line "It's everything you ever want" but it wasn't in his version.
He said in an interview that these were only demo vocals and they ended up putting it out without him being able to re-record it. He wanted to do it again. 😉
I imagined brendon wear i write a sin not tragedy costume feat hugh jackman wear original costume on film perform this song, that would be true greatest show ever
@@mocha1031 I feel like acapella has become so much of a norm now that people have neglected the talent behind acapella music. This is a very complex song, and the way Pentatonix organised and sang the song contain more talent than both versions.
Sounds so much like a father and son type of mash up between this two(with ofc Zac as the other kid in this song) by the difference of vocals between them. This is one of an amazing mash up!!!
I remember first hearing about the greatest showman film and all the hype around with people saying the soundtrack is amazing, I saw it was on and watched it for the first time...they weren't wrong amazing songs great film! So glad I decided to watch it 😄
@@Abbaschand So they call it a bad movie because it lacks historical accuracy... bad excuse. There's a lot of things other than that that make it a good movie
GOOD GOLLY HOLLY, YOU DID GOOD!!! Much better than all those other ones that just play them side by side, but you, you know how to mix. I see a bright future for you!
I usually don’t chose favorites but Brendon’s voice is literally the angels singing. And I usually like the original versions more than the celebrity covers but Brendons version is the winner
Oh, I love this! When I was listening to the reimagined version, no matter how much I liked it, it was lacking my favourite parts - the little "It's everything you'll ever want, it's everything you'll ever need," here there's both and it's perfect. Thank you for that!
Now we need a mashup of the three versions, with pentatonix. One question, Venkrya, will you do a mashup of Never Enough original vs. Reimagined, also Rewrite the stars, and possibly Tightrope? Please pretty please?????? With this mashup I imagine you can pull it off nicely with the other ones.
Unfortunately my laptop's hard disk started failing a few days after I finished working on this... It should be repaired within these few days, I'll see if I can work on them once i get my laptop back (though the project files for this mashup would've been most likely wiped out..... sad)
Is sad to hear about your laptop, I hope it get solved. To lose all that work.... it reminded me of my sister's laptop not responding to anything, it took me a week to fix it. I will be looking forward for those mashups ☺️😉
The thing thats wrong with labeling this as a "vs" is that they didnt change the original sound at all (or at least so minor its unnoticable) but the Panic! Version they made the sound deeper and that seems unfair to me.
Shoot! I can't stop listening it!!!!!!!! I even imagine Brandon bring along those circus folks from I Write Sins Not Tragedies alongside Hugh Jackman and the crews from The Greatest Showman
The difference in voices is great. Hugh's voice with the song seems separate from the music, each their own great thing that join to make something lovely. Brendon's voice on the other hand, blends in with the music to create one Melody. Both are great.
If you like this, check out the other mashups on my channel! I will be making more soon, so stay tuned!
Wow only 2 reply in this comment
make it 3
Now we have 4 :D
In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have done this mashup so soon...
@@Venkyra u could of done 4 of thr greatest show mashup
Brendon, Zac & Hugh all in one? I'm LIVING!
Inés WEBER DON’T FORGET ZENDAYA AND KEALA SETTLE!!!! Epic mashup
OMG! 😍 YYEEESS

Dont forget - Hugh Jackman is an actor - Brendon is not :) I thought they both made it their own and it was very special! x
@@SpeedyWheelzOfficial Indeed.
You missed one; the Panic! At The Disco Version was slowed down to fit the song, but i think everyone knew that.
@@Ozymand11as I mean, yes. That's true. I was just uh.. Differentiating their tone-

The greatest showman 2
I like how your brain thinks👍👍
Someone please make this idea a reality. And I mean an animatic or something. PLEASE!
Is this nightcore ?
Patrick:no this is the greatest show
...Patrick? I’m confused: is it a joke because in the reimagined one it was Brendon Uris from panic at the disco...
Moon Guen Spongebob joke..
@@deepstariaa_ no because of how the original sounds
No this is the Krusty Krab
Oof I got it TwT
Can Hugh Jackman and Brendon Urie perform this live please?
Hema Malik that would be a good day to die 😫❤️
That'd be one heck of an Oscars performance.
add zac efron and ill die for the tickets
OH MY GOD I WOULD DIE
I agree

Panic! At The Hooey 🔥🔥🔥🔥
SAME

*THAT'S A LOAD OF HOOEY!*
HUGH AND BRENDON FOUGHT TOO MUCH! WE NEED TO STAHP IT!
Hugh jackman sings like an octave lower than brendon
That's not singing...it's basically talking...Brendon has like...a swing to it.
Cuz he's treating it as a story.. Bruh not many people can hit Brendon's notes you know
Noel Titus actually, brendon's talent for high notes isn't that great, he goes that high using a lot of falsetto/whistle. His none falsetto note goes up to f5, freddie goes up to g5 non falsetto, gerard way a5, lambert Bb5, of course he goes high but not super talented with it, just uses skills
Ammmmm... where did you find your profile picture?
I mean when one is a baritone and the other is a tenor things like that tend to happen.
I love both versions, but still love the original more. Brendon's kind of lost a few verses as well, I like the full song more. Though Brendon's is good, but I was waiting for the line "It's everything you ever want" but it wasn't in his version.
Mizuki~ I agree! That part of the song is my favorite and I was so disappointed that they didn’t put that in Panic’s version
I think he includes it in the pftw leg 2 tour uwu

I think you mean "This is the greatest mash!"
Yeah, certainly better than all those other versions I found here. Excellent job!!!
UM 😐 yeah eh 🙁❤️
I Believe every version even this one is all good. Each one was the greatest show 😉
4:15 is 😰👌🏾👍🏾🔥
My ears are blessed. My skin is clear. I'm alone at home.

4:15 is pure harmonic magic
I love how it fades into one another! It makes it seems super real!
Came back here after pentatonix version released
Who aims for mash up of the three?
Blessie Lee Me!! That would be flipping amaizng!
I do
No. This one is perfect.
In my opinion the pentatonix one didn’t even come close to either of these two versions
@@mocha1031 I feel like acapella has become so much of a norm now that people have neglected the talent behind acapella music. This is a very complex song, and the way Pentatonix organised and sang the song contain more talent than both versions.
Brendon's voice was a phenomenal choice for a reimagining of hugh's original rendition
This is The Greatest Mashup! They lit it up and never came down!
Keala settles high note gets me EVERY TIME 😍
Hugh jackman: This Is good and no one can stop me!
Brandon: Hold my beer
Hugh: YOU WANNA DO IT? THEN LETS FIGHT!
It’s Brendon not Brandon. I’d suggest not mixing it up as the fans go crazy when you misspell.
Hugh Jackman vs Panic At The Disco. Their voces are both perfect harmony to this movie 😍😍😢
I’m speechless this is amazing
Just when you think it couldn’t possibly get any better, a genius goes and makes this. Absolutely amazing!!!!!!
OMG this is probably the best mashup I have ever hurd ahhh it's awesome ❤️!!!

That ending though! Makes me want to get up and dance even though I've been sick for the last 2-3 days!
IDK y the critics say it's a bad movie

They say it's a bad movie because in real life, the real PT Barnum is actually an asshole, and PT Barnum's real life is not as fun as the movie.
