It sounds like it would be quite expensive and difficult to obtain, it makes sense to use it though because of the properties. Since bonsai trees live for so long it seems reslly important that the soil gets enough oxygen and is able to drain excess easily. Very cool video! 👍

i think it's the best ingredient for potting mixes, and should be the main ingredient by volume. choose correct size for application.
