    Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you... Mr. Andrei Jikh the "Master of Dividends".
    The way he talks and teaches about Dividends is great. There are many on UA-cam who talk about dividends, but at the end none is as good as Andrei. Almost 100,000 subscribers don't lie! Love your work.

      It seems the spreadsheet he shows here and the "Free" ($6.99) one are very different. If you're expecting what he shows in this video, I'm guessing it's tied to his Patreon account - Wasn't too happy to find out about this after paying.

    The spreadsheet is awesome! I do have one question though, every time you show us adding to your spreadsheet, it’s a new stock. What does it look like to add stock of something you already have? Like you have 32 AAPL stocks at $114 a piece, but what if you bought, say 10 more, at the $209.68 price, do you just average the buy price together or add another row of AAPL for the new stocks?

    • @TheAbrahamHD
      @TheAbrahamHD 5 років тому +1

      Because you're not in control with an ETF. ETFs are great for most people that don't want to keep up with their holdings, but choosing and researching your own holds and having the option to reduce it's place in your portfolio or get rid of it completely with your own research is where it's at.

    I've watched a ton of your videos and have been skimming through the comments but I have a question for you. If after all this work you're getting a little more than a 4% return rate, why not use a high yield dividend etf like VYM instead? I know there is an expense ratio but it is low, and requires zero work on my part. I'm not trolling in anyway, I'm just genuinely curious which strategy to pursue.

    Hi Andrei, my issue with these spreadsheets is actually when we add shares from a company we already have some or sell them. Also when we add some money to the account. It starts getting cumbersome to track and I have not found yet someone who has a good tracking tool for it. Can you make a video about it?

    Is there a way to automatically update your holdings when one DRIPs a stock in the portfolio or do we need to manually calculate the average cost and number of shares? If it is manual, does the program allow fractional shares?
    Sorry if this was answered already, I skimmed the posts but did not see the question.
