I feel like naruto just felt bad for making hinata chase him for all this time and isn't actually that happy together with hinata. Naruto knew sakura liked sasuke in my thoughts sakura and naruto would of had more of a connection but with naruhina I felt like super uncertain bc it was so quick, I mean you didn't really spend as much time with hinata but I mean it could be "true love" but it just doesn't feel like it. If we saw more time with hinata and naruto I would probably like the ship a lot more but honestly I don't that much, like if they hung out more and hinata controlled her actions she would have been so good. I mean I like sasusaku but it needs a bit more development, I know its not a romance anime, but here should be some good parts like that, also I feel like in boruto naruto and sakura seem a bit more different, maybe they knew they liked each other but doesn't wanna hurt anyone, who knows😗❤🌸

Regardless if NaruHina and SasuSaku became canon, NaruSaku will always be the most realistic relationship in Naruto. Naruto started out loving Sakura (it definitely wasn't some silly crush like they try to make it out to be) and it was clear that Sakura was starting to develop feelings for him as the series progressed. Several characters pointed at their connection, such as when Yamato was about to say that Sakura loved him when she was healing him after his fight with Orochimaru at Tenchi Bridge. Kishimoto even said that her 'confession' to him was not a complete lie. They had more moments than any couple in the series. NaruHina and SasuSaku were such forced pairings simply because they hardly had any moments through out the series.

sasusaku fan here. But I agree with you on them being the most realistic and in the end the most happy pairing if certain growth and conditions were coplete. Its just sakura was not ready to give up sasuke. If the series was not about bringing sasuke back, it would probably happen. I do digital paintings and I plan on doing a series of paintings where I explain my philosophy around narusaku and sasusaku. I resolve narusaku there as a ultimate power couple- just not in the given lifetime for reasons I would explain. If you would like to chech it once its done it would be awesome

@@First1Sinner dude that movie is so wrong that you don't even know, first off that whole theory about Sasuke rivalry cow pie, that was Sakura's theory not a fact, the true reason he likes Sakura is because he has the same taste in women that his father has, I know shipper but what they did to my boy Naruto in that movie was criminal, Naruto has never been or never will be that shallow, and to disprove suckers theory even more why didn't he crush on Ino? Or any of the girls that were having the hots for Sasuke? Sakura did love Naruto and vice versa, heck there was a lot of hints those two were supposed to be endgame, from Jiraiya and Tsunade, to Obito and Rin, to Yahiko and Konan, and finally Minato and Kushina, and even though they never appeared in the manga have you seen Sakura's parents? To me they felt like they were more Naruto's parents than hers, heck sometimes I think those two are switched at birth because Kushina and Minato felt more like Sakura's parents than they do Naruto's and vice versa, in the whole Naruto the last is the very proof that NaruHina had no foundation otherwise they wouldn't need to make that movie, as for your ship SasuSaku, that relationship was supposed to put Sakura in Naruto's position, because let's be honest to me Sasuke felt more like a wingman to Naruto for NaruSaku, I'm sorry for making this comment longer but I think Sasuke wasn't opposed to end up with anyone thank you was supposed to die in the end of the story, to me way back during the Land of Waves Arc, Haku felt like foreshadowing for Sasuke, because at the beginning of the Sasuke retrieval Arc he chose revenge over restoring his clan, that's what the choice represents stay in the village and forget Itachi and rebuild his clan or go with Orochimaru gain power to get his revenge on Itachi, besides wouldn't it make more sense to keep Itachi alive if you want to rebuild your clan? Sasuke really didn't want to destroy the leaf village you just wanted to die by their hands, for them to finish what his brother started, a spit and Itachi's face for letting him live in such a hell called life, and I think he was going to make Naruto take his life, because it's been established for a long time that Naruto is susceptible to genjutsu, even though he became a perfect Jinchiriki, I think Sasuke would you sit for just long enough for him to get the killing blow in, mirroring what happened to Yahiko and Nagato, it would represent in the story that you can't always keep your promise.
You have to admit, this couple has defiantly had its great moments whether you ship it or not.
Honestly they were the cutest couple, like, ever and wayyy more realistic. They literally were SOOOOO close and the pairing had the most adorable moments and it wasn’t so forced either. That didn't make sense to me because Naruto rejected Sakura before that and then when Minato asks he talks as if he was in love with her.

I began watching Naruto when I was 12. Now I'm 24 and I'm crying over this video. When I was in my early teens I used tou prefer Sasusaku, but as soon as I began realise how things actually work in real life I switched to narusaku. And god, I gave do much to it. I wrote fanfiction in my native language for 8 years, I made videos and drew fanarts. And I trully believed that they were made to be together because they are the most realistic couple. First of all Sakura is the most realistic girl, not like other characters written in tradition of japanese calture where girls like Hinata are idialized - quiet, tradiotionally beautiful, reserved. Sakura, otherwise, is so.. relatable. She has emotion, strength. And she deffinatly overgrow Sasuke. But as I know Kishimoto just couldn't change the pairings, cause Sakura had too much screentime loving the other guy. In japanese culture such swap would be seen as very low movement, as betrail. I know it's sounds stupud, but it is. Actually I would prefer if Kishimoto would leave Naruto alone like Jiraiya. He couldn't just switch his mind and in one day fall in love with girl when he was loving the other one all his life.
Man, they were like... each other's half. It's so surreal how you see them together and it feels right. In these scenes, you know that whoever's falling, the other one will catch him without a doubt. I know Hinata would do that for Naruto as well but Naruto would've caught Hinata too because she's his friend. I know Sakura's always mean with Naruto but despite that, she also cares deeply and it just feels more real. Please don't hate... I don't really hate NaruHina. I love all pairing. Even NaruSasu or SasuNaru. But these two, it could've been, you know? and the show would still be perfect.
Naruto and Sakura had more moments than any pairing in the series. That's why NaruSaku felt like such a tease because Kishimoto made them have all these moments and then forced NaruHina and SasuSaku at the last second.

In Boruto you can see that neither of them is really happy. Naruto is overworked and doesn't have time for his family. Hinata is reduced to a housewife and a mother. Sasuke doesn't know what his own daughter looks like and he almost kills her when they reuinte. Sakura is basically a single mother who has to work and raise her daughter without Sasuke's help. She also lies to her about her father's past. If I were Kishimoto, I would do it like this:
1. Naruto and Sakura are together. He becomes the Hokage, she becomes the head of Konoha's hospital. The two biggest underdogs are finally recognized and appreciated by Kohona's inhabitants. If they had children, they would be decent parents. Naruto would love them unconditionally and teach them how to be a good person. He would also inspire and encourage them to be the best versions of themselves. However, as an orphan, he would need a lot of Sakura's help to learn how to be a good and responsible father.
2. Hinata is devastated when she finds out that Naruto and Sakura are together. After some time, she takes a lesson from that experience and decides to become more confident and powerful. She finally faces her weaknesses and starts living for herself. She does something vital for Hyuga clan's survival and becomes the head of it. Because of what Naruto and Neji taught her, she reforms and unifies her clan. When she finally finds her peace and her purpose, she falls in love with somebody who is worthy of her. She's still friends with Naruto and Sakura.
3. Sasuke realizes that she made a lot of mistakes. He feels guilt and remorse and decides to atone for them. He helps Naruto with estabilishing peace in shinobi's world. During his long journey, he discovers what matters the most. He gets injured/sick and is saved by a woman who leads an orphanage for children who lost their parents during the war. After recovering, he wants to come back to Konoha and carry on with his mission, but something keeps stopping him in the orphanage. The orphanage is attacked by the group of traffickers, but Sasuke and the children who he was teaching manage to defeat them. Sasuke decides to bring all of them to Konoha. Naruto offers them citizenship. Sasuke falls in love with that woman, gets married and they legally adopt these children together and teach them how to be good and useful people. The Uchicha clan is restored in a way.
This is so beautiful.
It hurt me to see Naruto lost his smile after being hokage and doesn' have good relationship with his son. Hinata is too passive for him. Sasusaku also feel forced, it seems that they are together because Sasuke isn't confident that someone else will love him and Sakura accept him because her childhood crush or doesn't want him to feel left out.

This song definitely fits my headcanon for them, it's so heartbreaking. Sakura hugged Naruto after finding out Hinata loved him in the Pain arc maybe because she thought it would be the last time she can express something to him... then after all of it, all she still wanted was to secure his happiness (tho he's obviously happier with her without her realizing) thinking it's one of the little things she can do because she felt undeserving of him, thus her specifically being the matchmaker of NH in the Last..💔

I feel like they're perfect together, they were always each other's family and were there for each other through so much. Sakura could be mean, but it was cuz she cared and she was like the mother of the group. The moment that these two started showing up together, I can't help but feel a connection between them. It was small at first but the longer the series went, the stronger the connection was and their feelings for each other.
I always hated how the creator of Naruto practically shoved the NaruHina ship down at people's throats just because more people liked it more the NaruSaku.
He'll! Even in the Boruto series, I can't help but feel a strong chemistry between the two and the soft look in their eyes whenever they make contact.

i don't really care about ships tbh However as i watch the series, I find naruto and sakura similar to jiraiya and tsunade. A relationship where one has a secret feelings but also has this bestfriend type kind of friendship wherein both are comfortable in each other and I think that's beautiful even though they didn't end up together. Naruto and Sakura's relationship is surely one of the best growth in the series. ❤️

I have always shipped Naruto and Sakura because Sakura was the only girl that Naruto truly cared and loved since day one he’s always loved her and the only time that Naruto started to develop feelings for Hinata and acknowledging her was at the very last moment on the movie of the last Naruto but it didn’t occur to the idiot to tell Sakura his true feelings maybe that could have changed things between them a lilit’s just like some obito and rin thing I’ve always liked Sakura better than Hinata and I will always ship them bc Sakura was mostly there for Naruto when ever he needed her and Hinata was mostly obsessed with Naruto and stuff like that and for those saying that she doesn’t do anything don’t for get about the time when her and granny chio battled sasuri (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) but yea I feel like Sasuke went and got together with Sakura by force and I guess he has a little love for her bc they had a child but it’s always gonna be Naruto and Sakura for me...ALWAYS.I just some times wish that he could have married Sakura and not Hinata there bond would be greater than anything when I see Boruto he rlly doesn’t pay attention to her or anything he’s always been in love with Sakura

I personally think NaruSaku is so great. But if they got married Sasuke would be alone and it would’ve been really sad for Hinata considering she loved Naruto her whole life. But Naruto realty was closer to Sakura, and went on A BUNCH of dates with her. So regardless of you ship it or not they are the most realistic relationship and had the sweetest moments. I think they are perfect as best friends who liked each other for a bit but married other people and still care about each other A LOT
Beforehand yes, I am a Naruhina fan but I think both Naruhina and Narusaku are possible imo.
But I think kishimoto did it like that bc of the original Naruto series (Hinata loved Naruto while everyone else hated him; Sakura loving Sasuke more than everything else) but as they grow Narusaku becomes more and more possible but as said earlier I think kishimoto wanted to reunite the kid lovers to have a rounded ending. Feel free to tell me your opinion in the replies >.
I feel like thats really the case. Since also, Kishimoto isnt good at writing romance, so might as well end the Naruto series with the already co-existed feelings from their childhood selves, making it easier for him to end it, I guess
