@@stephandozzie I’ve had to return it once because the band didn’t stay secure. The new one is more secure and I love the look. (You shouldn’t have that issue because it mainly effected the pre-ordered ones)I also got the gold mesh band and the fabric band- all are both great. If you like the look of the link I would get it. Oh, and if u buy the mesh band- it closes by magnet and can sometimes magnetize to a grocery cart(for example) and pull of your wrist.
I had trouble with one of my bands snapping in but if you apply a little pressure and wiggle each side of the strap it'll click into place. I bought two bands and only one had this problem the others click in with no effort. I love my luxe!
Note to new Fitbit Luxe owners, you have to give a little bit of pressure when you switch the bands. They don't go in as easy as you might think. The bands are not faulty or broken, just press a little bit until you hear and see the "snap", then they are secured. It took a minute of trying to figure out why they weren't securing. I see others have noted this in the comments as well. I even called Fitbit customer service to make them aware of this. Great new device. I too, wish they would use more of the screen real estate. The black space seems a waste of space that could be useful, but, love the colors in the screen now!

You are very welcome! I believe the gold is part of the metal blend. I don’t think it will wear off. I have the gold Fitbit Sense that has a stainless steel ring around the bezel and it hasn’t degraded at all since I got it last fall.

My sense still looks great except one small part where I did come in contact with a rock wall while hiking. There is a minor scuff and I was bummed when it happened, but it’s not very big and I don’t even see it until I look close. So it’s not impenetrable, but it does hold up pretty good.

Can you see the screen easily in direct sunlight? I have a Charge 3 which I love but when I'm out and about I can't see the screen. Thanks for the video, very tempting.
If you change the display brightness setting to "Max", then you can see it in the bright sunlight.

I bought the Luxe with the gold band. Nice looking but going to be hard to put it on since there is no buckle type opening...unless I'm missing something 😕
Kinda bothers me that the actual display is SO much smaller than the screen size because of the wide bezels :/ that feels like such a flaw to me, but is that something all other fitbits also have?
Great video! Wish I could say the same for the product. Very poor sleep tracking. Numbers reported by the watch didn't even agree with itself in the dashboard. Time slept was mismatched with the graphical display and choped up into different days. The company even displayed several articles on how to get more accurate results. They didn't really help. Also didn't coincide with actual hours asleep. Step tracking varied greatly from galaxy LTE watch. Going to return it today.

I still wish i could get a good look of the current Clockfaces with 3rd party. I've seen in views what the first party clock faces looked like but I'm thinking about giving this to my mother and a coworker for christmas, but since they are not really active people I kinda want to see if it can be turned into looking like a normal watch. I'm sure there are some Third Party clock faces for it that can achieve a nice normal watch look for it, but nobody has shown. I think the Fitbit Luxe looks nice though.
The Fitbit luxe has no 3rd party clock faces (only Fitbit smartwatches have 3rd party clock faces).
I think the versa 2 for the same price is the better bang for buck, no?
Yes, but some people prefer the slimmer form factor and don’t want all the other “bells and whistles”.

My fitbit luxe stopped charging after 3 charges. I have tried everything and did a live chat with fitbit to no avail. No possible solutions worked. I will have to return less than 3 weeks from purchase.
Metal clasp broke out of the band on TWO days. Came with replacement band, but not that one. Ugh! Cheap garbage!
