That man was instrumental in the success of the mission. He saved AJ in “Russian space station!” He saved AJ and Bear when AJ’s Evel Knievel idea almost went awry. Without those 3, the world would have suffered mass extinctions. The world in that movie was in the debt of those 3.
Most beautiful part is they had all the pictures of the friends and family they lost, they saved the world and would not be forgotten by the people closest to them.
I'm still 15 but I can't wait to put this as my wedding song! As the daughter of a man in the military I was always scared that they'll take him away... So this movie really makes me bawl my eyes out
For Harry, Oscar, Max, and Freddy, for their brave sacrifices, their deaths, their passings, they would be very proud and happy for Grace and A.J. and we salute them.
It's so nice to see Lev and Sharp at the wedding. Too bad Truman couldn't attend, though. He was invited for sure, but he's most likely busy all the time.
Those four men that passed away saving the Earth would be memorialized for generations to know and worshipped the world over. They’d be the most important people that ever lived, hands down.
When this movie is shown on TV, this part is always cut out... They always cut the end credits and quickly move onto the next program...but this scene is one of the most important parts of this movie
i cried after seeing this part of the movie😭it's sad that oscar, freddie and max died during the mission, it's also sad that harry sacrificed himself to save earth and i felt really emotional seeing grace and a.j. getting married in the end if harry was there he would be so proud of the woman grace became because none of this would have been possible without him so harry s. stamper was a good father and a true hero
Heavy metal ballads...undoubtably the most beautiful songs ever written or performed. I heard the song before I saw the movie and I accepted it as a beautiful love song. After watching the movie, I placed it high above all the others I have ever considered to be worth playing at the weddings, or engagement ceremonies. this song sends shivers down my spine each and every time i hear it... combined with the movie scenes, it makes a powerful weapon to disarm a woman's heart...
My eternal favourite song of all time. I was extremely lucky to see the band live with the love of my life. It always gets me , this song will always hit me harder than a million bullets on my chest. Diane Warren does the impossible to express the tiny details that really matter when we’re talking about love. Funny how the song was originally intended to be for Celine Dion and after the success of My heart will go on she thought that the song was going to be another super hit from a movie and she didn’t wanna be remembered as that, she was right and thanks to that Steven Tyler stepped in and took the world by storm. I would love to listen to the Celine version
its unbelievable how many tears i have cried in this movie !! every ingle time...since the scene when harry saves AJs life till this scene at the very end....but this scene here kills me everytime...simply beautiful but sooo saddd :(
@@martinsoublette95 No. I'm talking about in this movie. The first time was during the testing and examination scene. The Green Mile came out a year after this movie.
I saw Lev Andropov wearing a general's uniform. I'm guess that Peter Stormare's character was a Major General hired by Russia to work at the Russian Space Station.
Lev snuck a kiss on the lips from the bride at 0:38, and AJ got him back with a piece of cake in the face at 0:57. Also, Molly Mounds & Rockhound got the boquet at 0:51
One of those movie endings where u wanna cry so badly but know you shouldn't. At least for us Guys. Titanic, Pearl Harbor, Armageddon, there are some more..
At least he got to rule over the New York criminal underworld. Ben Affleck ruined it though. They should have worked together like they did on this mission.
Harry laid down his life so those he loved would live because what Harry did was out of pure love for those he loved because Christ Jesus once said: 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
I find it ironic how Michael Clarke Duncan is gone in real life, but he’s alive in this film… while in this film the characters who die D’s actors are still alive in real life. It feels like an alternate universe/timeline.
Esa escena y la canción solamente me hacen pensar en lo mucho que quiero estar presente cuando mi hija una su vida a otra persona. No puedo imaginar peor pesadilla que no estar a su lado en su momento más importante en la vida...
I'm not sure which hits more to home for me: Chiks son running up to him when they return or Bruce Willis in this movie and his condition now. In my opinion, the end credits for this movie, with Aerosmith gives off the same energy as Celine Dions, "my hear will go on", for the end credits of Titanic.
I love how the bad ass loan shark that gives the money to Rockhound is also at the wedding sitting in the front row, i guess that he arranged to be at the wedding and forgave the debt that Rockhound owed him, he is sitting next to Chicks wife, also Chick is not shown so i guess that he must have given Grace away to AJ at the wedding and been the best man, which is why he is not shown at all, Rockhound is in a relationship with the stripped named Molly Mounds because he is her hero and saved the world, at least he gets a romance and possible marriage out of it someday and maybe the debt he owes is cancelled. Bear is there and is crying which is just funny and he also throws the wedding cake on AJ's head at the reception party, Lev is also there wearing his Russian military uniform and having a good time, and Colonel Willie Sharp is there too because he likes everyone and owes them his life, everyone gets a happy ending, cant wait to see Rockhound and Molly Mounds get married.
Yeah, and see how close Molly is with Rockhound sitting there being really lovey. Of course since they returned, he was shocked that she was on the bus arriving at the landing before falling on top of him kissing him like no tomorrow telling her he wanted have babies with her. Grace laughed after the bouqet toss when Molly caught it and Rockhound just shrugged his shoulders before him and Molly shared another kiss. It just wouldn't have been the same if Lev wasn't there, he became part of the family on the way home. Agree the next family wedding will be Rockhound and Molly lol
Just watched it... I don't know that this is 1998 movies... I thought that this movies from 2008~11... Seriously, I'm quite sad when it comes to the ending part along with Aerosmith song which is my favourite... Damn... I can't move on with this movie... #4:42am #RCTI #4/8/15 #Fri
...and to finish the thought - the most touching thing that ever happened to me: watching the very end of the movie with the woman of my life in my arms...holding her close to me...and not letting her go...ever...and ever...and ever... and ever...

Probably one of the best most iconic and sentimental ending credits ever
Yes !!!!
RIP Michael Clarke Duncan. I always love to watch Bear cry.
MCD was the best!
There will never be another one like him
He's not crazy, just a little emotional. You'll throwing all this stuff at him. Can he maybe get a hug?
You love to watch him cry, I love to watch him screaming in the T 38 training jet.
Yeah, I even saw Michael Clarke Duncan in the Green Mile and the ending brought me in tears
I love how in the end, Lev is finally recognized as the hero he wanted to be by his people. Draped in medals at the wedding.
That man was instrumental in the success of the mission. He saved AJ in “Russian space station!” He saved AJ and Bear when AJ’s Evel Knievel idea almost went awry. Without those 3, the world would have suffered mass extinctions.
The world in that movie was in the debt of those 3.
Lev was the MVP. Him and Harry.
@@djswiney6619 And don't forget, he restarted the rocket that got everybody home.
Every time I see the pictures of the 4 that died with the music i shed a tear...
Rest in peace Michael Clarke Duncan "bear"
But bear lived
TheObsidianX he died IRL
+TheObsidianX
He died in 2012 from heart attack.
Alejandro Fallas And Bill Paxton too :(
Don’t forget the pilots.
One of the best end credits of all time.

We actually used this song on our own wedding, it was very memorable
That was my wedding song in 2001 and knew it always would be,,,,,,play it every anniversary and more
I'm still 15 but I can't wait to put this as my wedding song! As the daughter of a man in the military I was always scared that they'll take him away... So this movie really makes me bawl my eyes out
Who doesn't? All of my friends used it, i'm using it for mine.
I've got emotional damage from watching this 😭😭
I love the detail that Lev and Sharp attended the wedding as the credits are rolling
Let's not forget Rockhound's new girlfriend.
You can tell the actors having time of their life filming this scene. Their having so much fun; this had to be one of their favorites parts to film
"requesting permission to shake the hand of the daughter of the bravest man i've ever met" gets me every time :-(
For Harry, Oscar, Max, and Freddy, for their brave sacrifices, their deaths, their passings, they would be very proud and happy for Grace and A.J. and we salute them.
Too bad Freddy didn't get much screentime
o7
@@saratoga4126 I heard that Clark Brolly (the actor) and Michael Bay had some creative differences during filming, so his screen time was reduced.
Wasn't That A Good Movie?
It's so nice to see Lev and Sharp at the wedding. Too bad Truman couldn't attend, though. He was invited for sure, but he's most likely busy all the time.
This takes me back to the summer of 1998. I love this movie and song - it just really brings me back.
Michael Jordan’s final NBA title.
My favorite number one Aerosmith song!
Extremely emotional.
This is where a real men cry

Bear crying because, not just the wedding, he still miss a lot to his BOSS (Bruce Willis)
I never forget watch this movie with my father when i was 8.
Sad thing that Bear is arleady dead.

Actually it was Noonan, not Gruber. Gruber was one of the NASA guys with Sharp on the shuttle.
