How to Check Ohms on a Fuel Sending Unit to Match (New Vintage USA Gauges)

In this Tech Talk, we use an awesome new gauge cluster from New Vintage USA to demonstrate how to check the ohms on a fuel sending unit.
The main thing to know when checking ohms on your fuel sending unit is that you need to match the resistance range of the gauge with the resistance range of the fuel sender.

Great vid. Question: I have a fuel gauge with 2 56 ohm 2 watt resistors attached to it. Is that to limit the current? What's there purpose?
