  • One of the 7 videos made for APT Emilia Romagna in collaboration with the Municipality of Ferrara for the project "Feel the History Ferrara capital of the Renaissance" 2021.
This video tells about Renaissance Jewish Ferrara, a safe and welcoming place for the large community of Jewish refugees from other European countries.
The Jewish route unravels towards the northern part of the city, where, close to the walls, you can visit the Jewish cemetery, the burial place of the writer Giorgio Bassani; while to the south is the Meis, a museum that offers evidence of the centuries-old history of Jews in Italy, including the tragic events of racial persecution and the Shoah.
