Workshop Olympics 2! Searching For The Most Athletic Creations! - Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday
Вставка
- Опубліковано 23 тра 2021
- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are doing the Workshop Olympics! There will be 3 different events: The Cow Toss, Hurdles Race, and Farmbot Battle. For each event, each player will have to search the workshop and find a creation they think can win it. The catch is, you can't actually test out the creation before you choose it, so you must pick just based on the workshop picture and information!

Fun fact: If you can somehow force a farmbot into the floor, it will fall through the world and pop back up onto the surface, and the amount of falling it did can one-shot the farmbot, so you can just build a vehicle with no weapons and only a few pistons to kill a farmbot easily

You should have multiple buckets placed about 30 blocks up in the air and cow launching vehicles in a cow field, so you launch the cows up in your respective buckets and if they fall down they ragdoll towards the field. The one with the biggest number of cows that made it in their bucket wins!

Base Building competition to protect a small farmplot or cow, 10,000 block limit for structural and maximum of 3 dozen defensive set-ups. Then increase the value of higher tier blocks, so that a wooden or cardboard base is block for block, but then some low tier metal costs 2 blocks per block used, and high end blocks cost 3 blocks each.
Defensive setups are each given their own block limit, something like 150 blocks, and also will be given different "weight" for balance. Previous block type rules apply. Simple structures like bounce pads are 1 setup, and can have up to a 10x10 surface area to utilize the block limit, providing extra for structure underneath. Same for simple hammers, 100 for the implement, 50 for the structure. You could make a Tier 3 metal hammer with a 31 block head, squeezing a wood block somewhere in the middle, and give it a 3 block metal neck, sideways off the top of a bearing. Then you have 50 blocks to build the power supply housing and base.
Thrusters count as a setup to themselves, so if used to add power or speed to another design, that design now costs 2 setups. Using blades and drills will make a setup cost 2. Anything with range costs 3, so one *could* choose to defend their base with 12 automated spud turrets, but that would leave you at a disadvantage against Farmbots, since you would have no crowd control or stalling defenses to rack up shots.
You *can* use the defensive block limit to create walls separate from the main structure, utilizing all 150 blocks with no extra bits. It has to be a continuous unit of the material, so one couldn't just lay down 30x36 5 high spikes of tier 3 and wait out the clock. One all-wall chunk = 1 setup, whether or not it uses the block limit.
Bases are built into their own worlds, so everyone can have all the time they want to find a suitable location for their design and self audit for these rules. All initial "raids" will be conducted with 50 totebots, 25 haybots, 2 Farmbots, and a second wave of 25 totebots, 10 haybots, and 5 farmbots. These are both worth 10 points each, after which we enter challenge rounds, where you get one point for trying, and one point for surviving.
Until one's base is destroyed, fresh waves of 20 totebots, 8 haybots, or single Farmbots will attack, player's choice. After 5 rounds of this, if the base is still standing, point values double and a Farmbot is added to each wave. If a Base makes it to 50 points, it automatically wins, meaning multiple winners are possible, provided they can survive 12 waves without rebuilding. If y'all want to be ornery about first place, start the bases over and spam 20 farmbots and count the number who die before the base fails. Highest number of kills wins, beating the Farmbots means your base is too durable for competition, and is therefore disqualified from further competition, giving you an N/A and the person who wins but loses gets an asterisk etched into their trophy.
I'm copy and pasting this and crediting Sun Dominic from this comments section. They started this idea, and I saw it, and ran with it.

Yay! one of these again these kind of videos are my favorite !
Stacked pistons as punchers can potentially one shot farm bots. Just saying there's an even faster way to kill them. The only problem with the piston puncher is that the block has to actually hit the bot fast enough with out glitching through it or get pushed around it. But it's pretty magical when it works. I always feel like shouting "ONE PAAAAAAUNCH!!!!!!"
I have an idea of protecting a cow or building with bots coming after it trying to kill/destroy it with timing how long it lasts

7:40 'Holy cow, holyyy cow' Literally holy cow
I used to play this game before Trailmakers too. I didn't make any videos on it. I JUST WENT STRAIGHT INTO TRAILMAKERS!
Lmao I didn't think the cow was going to go flying like that but damn I died 🤣 when it did
new idea for Olympics. Cow golf, cow auto feeder truck, cow basketball. Lets see those cow themed Olympics
A shrinking race or shrink-down race. Everyone starts with a 32X32 vehicle. At the first checkpoint you have to cut down your vehicle to a 16X16 vehicle. At the next checkpoint you cut it to an 8X8 vehicle. And maybe even a 4X4 at the end. You can chose during your build if you want to connect things with cardboard, so you can fire a (mounted)spudgun to disconnect the rest of the car. Or you can just delete some blocks. You would be allowed to use your connection tool and change settings. (you could even start with 64X64 for the extra big start)
Suggestion: There was a Workshop Hunters video a while back where Kan rode around on a little motorcycle that was controlled with buttons and no seat. I think it would be interesting to watch you guys race vehicles that you have to control manually with buttons/switches/whatever. Just no seats.
2 ideas, battlebot showdown with you guys, no spudguns. Or cow transporter. Pick up the cow and drop them off from one pen to the other. But your vehicle has to have no rails. And you cant push the cows into the 2nd pen. They have to be picked up and placed on your vehicle.
multiplayer monday idea with cows = do a cow race where cow follows your vehicle and you have to bring that cow into the finish line with your vehicle.
This is only for 3 players.
You can change the rules or add any.
Rules :-
1. No Glitches.
2. No Thrusters.
3. Only 5 Corn Allow In Your Vehicle.
4. If Your All 5 Corn Get Eaten Then You Are Out Of Race.
5. The First Player That Is Out Of The Race Could Sabotage Others Vehicle With Only 7 Corns.
6. The First One To Finish The Race Gets 3 Points. Second One Gets 2 Points And Last One Gets 1 Point.
7. If None Can Make Into The Finish Line Then The Last One Standing Gets 3 Points. Second Last One Gets 2 Points.
8. The First One To Be Out Of The Race Gets 1 Point.
9. Only One Saw Blade Allowed.
10. The cow has to follow the corn.
11. The cow has to be moving.
12. You Can Only Spawn Your Cow Only 5 Times.
These rules could have mistake.
Moonbo charges his ultimate attack:HE'S GLUED TO ME
The last round moonbo with Magical Bonk..🤣
Watching the cow get bonked by a hammer and disappearing made me wake up the wife laughing.
Low friction block race!!
Low friction block race!!
Spud gun powered!
How about a woc race? You need to strategically place corn in order to make wocs complete races, trigger sensors, avoid being killed etc. Kinda hard to create, but could be fun to watch
Moonbo is the only reason why this video is 24 minutes long
yes
can you launch a cow onto a plinko board with a point system
mm idea -capture the cow, put a cow in the middle of an arena and all make vehicles that can push the cow and push it into your own pen, maybe even allow the usage of spud guns
I got a leave a comment way before watching the video matter fact as the ad is still playing. Work shop Olympics! this has to be good. :)
not even 5 minutes in and WII SPORTS VIBES. thanks WOC.
you need to do a wok / cow relay the woc must survive the whole thing .
you have 3 events
1. woc through (you must throw the wok into your second vehicle)
2. woc race (you must keep your woc alive and contained the entire time point a to b)
3. woc war ( arm your woc by having it destroy a cardboard building(buttons or sensors that detect the woc to shoot/bomb the building))
Cow launchers were Hilarious!!
I think moonbo deserves bonus points for such an entertaining and satisfying battle with the farmbot.
“ cows are so launchable” lol
Cowmagedon, launch cows into opponents pens. When someone runs out of cows or when timer ends who ever has the least cows wins.
9:23 "Cows are so launchable" -Scrapman 2021
these make my mondays sooooooooo so much better
Good thing I finished my drink before the 1st cow launch.

Scrapman: launches cow
*queue insparational music*
Survival challenges! something like first to kill a farmbot. Or first to raid a warehouse. Or first to get a spud gun. Or first to get all plant seeds!
MULTIPLAYER MONDAY IDEA: You should make a video where you and all of your friends make a car mostly out of destructible material and then you could have some arena with obstacles and you spawn normal tape bots first and last one to survive wins. then you could do a bonus round with explosive ones
Amphibious vehicle race would be cool👌🏾
Wow I haven't laughed this much cuz of a multiplayer monday in a long time
Cow Skee-ball? cow tennis? cow bowling?
I never laughed so hard before.
You should do relay races where you choose multiple workshop creations and once you get to your other vehicle you get that one
Dude I can’t believe now they are friends with someone they first heard of pretty much in a first video on the workshop
Video idea:
Holy Cow
A cow on each vehicle.
if cow falls = -1 point
3 challenges + finish line
(you decide the challenges)
complete order (challenge)
1st = 3 points
2nd = 2 points
3rd = 1 point
finish line
1st = 2 points
2nd, 3rd = 0 points
#compactinstructions
One idea for cows, do a cow on a spoon race. Like an egg on a spoon, but with cows!
Idea : Build your own battlebots to fight the farm bots in an arena and the one who survives the longest winns
Well that was fun. How about cow mini golf. Launch, hit or shoot a cow through an obstacle coarse.
Trailmakers Idea: Evolution Bombers, New Game type theory(Arms Race Maybe?): you have a base build that is probably mid evolution, then you can put weapons on it but only 2 power cores at a time, Bomber Escort: Escort a bomber to say, the carrier from the snowy island and the bomber cannot repair and the escorting plane cannot repair but the attackers can.
The Community should know the events before hand, so everyone can try to build something
Woclympics:
1. Woc Herding
2. Woc Racing
3. Woc launching
Cow herding could be a fun competition
Multiplayer Mooday idea: Motorbike racing with cows in sidecars.
Had to clean the coffee off my monitor after that initial cow launch.
Multiplayer Monday idea: cow herding race! Make a track you have to navigate while herding the cow through it.
InCOWming!
I have to say, the giant hammer was the best lol. It was so awesomely violent.
Kan is learning from Dapper here. Spinner go brrr!
Vehicle herding challenge: get cows to herd copies of your vehicle (low friction maybe) you spawn one copy in the middle every time you get one in your pen
“ my stomach hurts that was amazing” you and every girl I been with
Thanks for making videos!
Idea for challenge frankenshop, have to make a vehicle completely out of 3-4 workshop vehicles
Moonbo's first contraption..... the.... COWTAPULT!
Hammers do ham, ScrapMan.
Just note that if you keep using the Olympics as the name for this you might get a cease and desist letter from the actual Olympics. It happened to Automotive flux in his Autolympics series, now known as the Autoflux games.
