Wir tanzten auch damals danach. Auch unsere Tanzgruppe (viele Mädels/wenige Jungs) hatten Auftritte mit diesen Songs. Es war immer ein Highlight. Damals war UV-Licht ein neues Bühenmedium. Die Mädels tanzten im UV-Licht mit leuchtenden Kostümen. Oh mein Gott, das waren noch Zeiten. Wir waren die "Stars" bei jeder Party... Dieser Song ist nur ein Beispiel. "Stars on 45" war auch so ein Kracher. Die Mädchen zeigten mehr als sie durften... aber das Publikum war immer begeistert... Und nicht zu vergessen, wir waren eine Tanzgruppe außerhalb der Schulzeit mit einer offiziellen Tanzlehrerin.... gefördert durch ehemals CTA (Chemie- und Tankanlagenbau Fürstenwalde). Dieses Kombinat gibt es natürlich nicht mehr... auch keine kulturelle Förderung wie damals. Alles ging zu Grunde zur Wendezeit. Um so besser verkünden zu können: Fürstenwalde tanzt noch. Ja...wir haben Talente und immernoch wird geprobt und getanzt. Der letzte Auftritt unserer (mit Verlaub) "Heimattruppe" war nicht nur sexy sondern auch schön. Und: "Wichtig": So viel Altersklassen... das war bei uns damals nicht so....
I did two small Tours in Ft. Germersheim, Germany in the 90's (we were Actually the LAST group of Soldiers to get there, and after we ALL left to go back home, U.S.A., the Fort was closed for good, it was TOO SMALL and Never enough Soldiers to keep it running and/or to hire Civilians to work there)! And my Beloved, HANDSOME "Late" brother did three years as well over at "K-Town", Germany (i forget how it's spelled 'cause it's too long to remember, But ALL of us Soldiers know what we're talking about when we say "K-Town")! :-) I LOVED Germany, it was SO, SO REAL BEAUTIFUL to see, But i had NO idea what they were saying about us (behind our backs AND to our faces), LMBO! :-) :-P
