Since I saw the first review it reminds me of a Tesla Cybertruck. 😂

Stingerswarm..... you have to watch the Russian guys video on this charger.. he explains everything

  • @JPspinFPV

I want so much for this to be a great charger... But ToolkitRC has lost my trust. This is going to need glowing long term review.

Hey man. Sorry if this is old news, but I got a new Q6AC today and it included a screen protector in the box. They must be listening 🙂.

I’m still rocking the 406Duo that I got as my very first “real” charger when I got serious about FPV in late 2015. That thing is a tank and refuses to stop doing everything I need it to do, plus I have it in a Rigid tool chest with two of those 1200W power supplies, so it’s reasonably portable (it’ll go in the car, but obviously not taking it on the plane). If I had to get a new charger, there’s no doubt in my mind this would be it. I’d still run it off the DC power supplies at home so I could get full beans from it, but it’s nice that it has the AC option when you’re on the road…

    Not enough amps for me.

Can you set up profiles for various batteries? Ie 3s 2200 battery, 4s 3400 profile. Minimizing all the clicking when charging different batteries…. I didn’t see this in the video

  • @gadgetmerc

Synchronous mode basically uses two channels to charge one. Standard mode you max at 15amp on all 4 channels. Synchronous mode allows you to do 25amps at 500 watts. It does this by synchronizing the two channels to power one.

  • @slappomatthew

problem with basically all the FPV chargers is they dont do the amps of an I charger. for surface batteries 15 amps is not enough to hard charge. I got a D6 duo and sadly it also does 15amps max.

  • @TheDavid76

Is there a button to turn it off or is it simply done with the button on the power side? Thank you

  • @TorontoFPV

thanks man your reviews and videos are so well done I catch myself watching them even though I don't want the item I'm watching!

  • @peterdeacon4085

  • @MDimosN

I just bought the imars 300 duel. I really like it 150w per channel on ac. I can charge 6 4s 1500mah batteries on one channel it’s a game changer. I always thought it was really dumb idea to put a 20w usb-c on a charger Hota. However I don’t think I could ever go back to a 200w charger anyway. This 65w usb-c seems way more practical for soldering. I also like how you can get 200 watts on two channels with sync. I wonder if it will last, tool kit hasn’t been known for dependability. Very cool charger and great review!

Nice charger. Very similar to my T240, but much more refined. Price of these chargers is always hard for me to bite the bullet x_X

I'm using an ISDT P30 as my main charger (up to 30A per channel, dual channel) being fed by a 1000W 36v power supply adjusted down to 34v to let the charger actually output this kind of current. I use an ISDT P10 in the field with a HP sever power supply feeding it which is rated 10A per channel but due to input current limitations at 12v it will only do 4.5A or so into 5s per channel. This works out ok for field charging as I can usually keep up with charging between rounds charging at 2C. The downside of the P10 is it doesn't discharge / storage charge so I need to bring a discharger when traveling with FPV gear.
