My medical courses are in Dutch, since I study in Belgium. But a lot of medical terms and textbooks are in English, so we kind of use a mix of both. It’s pretty common for med students here to switch between the two languages depending on the context.
Both questions are tricky to answer! 😊 The difficulty of the entrance exam really depends on your background knowledge. I can tell you that only about 1 in 7 people actually get in, but it also depends on how well other students perform since only a select few are chosen to start med school. As for your second question, the cost varies based on a few factors, like which university you choose and whether you live in the EU. Nevertheless ive looked at the pricing of my university (Ghent University) and for people who live in EU countries it would cost you €1116 and for people who don't live in the EU it would cost you €6672 ( $7,222 USD) each year. I found these numbers on Ghent University’s website, but keep in mind the price might be a bit different depending on your situation. If you want specifics, I'd recommend reaching out to UGent directly. And don’t forget about other costs like transportation, food, study materials like books which I didn’t cover in the video! 😊
Lovely content ❤

Wow that's amazing, @@Reason_To_Heal
How difficult is the entrance exam to med school? Also, for international students how much higher would the cost be?
