Steak and Pasta the Vegan Way!

- Happy Sunday Family!! Many of you have asked me to show you how I make “Fake Steak” for Chance using the Lightlife ground so let’s do it! I’m also making a Kale Alfredo bow tie pasta with mushrooms and garlic tomatoes! All from the spirit, so come on in the room! #Supporters
Ingredients for burgers:
Light life plantbased ground
Braggs Liquid Aminos (use only small amount)
Hickory Liquid smoke (use only small amount)
Garlic powder
Pepper
21 Seasoning from Trader Joe’s
Make your patty
Then add to the pan with
Grapeseed oil
Mushrooms
Red and green peppers
Onions
Ingredients for Bow tie Kale Pasta:
Organic Farfalle pasta
Foragers unsweetened plain Cashew yogurt(24oz but only use half for a full box of pasta)
Follow your heart Parmesan shreds
21 Seasoning from Trader Joe’s
Garlic Powder
Lemon juice
Country crock Plant-based Avocado butter
Petite cut canned tomatoes with sweet onions & roasted garlic
Kale
For the mushrooms to top the pasta off:
Garlic cloves (2or3)
White mushrooms
Onion
Grapeseed oil
21 Seasoning
Before adding it to the top of pasta don’t forget to add the rest of your Parmesan first then pour on top and mix.
Top it of with Kelly’s Lemon Pepper Parmesan🙌🏿

Went vegan a couple months ago and I’m never looking back. When I tell you this woman’s story mirrors mine (we’re even the same age), and in 2 weeks I got my energy back and the headaches went away I cried like a baby because I literally went from feeling like death everyday to life. My skin is the best it has looked in over 20 years and my hyperpigmentation is almost gone. Why would I go back when I feel like a walking miracle. Thank you Tabitha and to everyone on the fence take the leap please!
Veganism isn't for everybody, although its ok to promote veganism. the boost in energy and health you say happened to you wont happen to everyone. People should try Veganism, but if it isnt for them, they should definetly not stick with it.

I honestly feel like it's embedded in our DNA. But of course because of the "American" lifestyle we have been eating this processed food. I'll never forget my first Vegan detox...EVERYTHANG came forth. lol It spooked me out because I never had that happen before. I really do believe it does a body good if done the right way. While I haven't fully committed to it, I see why people do.

LAWWWDDD This pasta was SO BOMB!! I found all the ingredients except for the tomatoes and gluten pasta. Instead I used diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano and sauteed my own sweet onions (Cuz dat's my bizness) and because I don't eat gluten, I found a 100% organic Brown Rice Gluten Free Pasta (FARFALLE) which is the Bow Tie and IT WAS BOMMMMMB!! It's by Jovial! THANK YOU!!!
Jovial is hands down the BEST gluten free brown rice pasta on the market! 💯

What I Love about the Vegan Life is you don't have to worry about getting raw meat on your seasoning bottles. I find myself constantly washing my hands before and after handling the meat in between grabbing my seasoning because I don't want raw meat juice to be on the bottle, lol!

I was vegan for like 4 moths kiss year and I never thought about that. I’m going back this year within the coming months
I either wear gloves or always open my season before messing with meat. I do use utensils more than my hands too. I hate the cold feeling of meat
Try gloves and open your seasonings before you start. I use the glove on one hand and season with the other, Cross contamination avoided...Hope it Helps...😊
That's one of the benefits that I didn't even know was a benefit until years after going vegan, and I saw my mom washing raw chicken in the sink 🤮
Lemon pepper is a great salt free seasoning that adds so much brightness! Auntie Fee may not have been a healthy cook, but she was 100% right on the lemon pepper.

I love watching you cook vegan. I’m trying to make at least three vegan meals a week I’m still a meat eater. I live in Mathews va in middle of nowhere and I’m not rich we have almost no options here . Except tofu and some vegan sausages . The south is in the country just hadn’t evolved like the rest of the world. I couldn’t believe the food bank gave us impossible burgers the other day! But I’m trying girl!!!!

The best part of going vegan is to be able to leave meat behind. It’s just a worry, and we have become accustomed to it. If you eat everything unprocessed and fresh, you’ll find much more fun in developing your condiments, seasonings, your spices, and your textures.
Legumes hun. You don't need tofu or impossible meat if you are on a budget, skip it and do lentils and beans curries, stews, chilies etc. Save your coins the tofu and faux meats are great for transitioning👌
I always come back to rewatch Tabotha. This woman is love personified. Tabatha shares her knowledge with humor and a huge helping of love every time. Im especially comforted at times like this when sickness has it's gnarly fingers all over me. Thank you Lord for Tabitha.

So I’m not vegan but I dabble every now and again with different recipes just to try it. I got the ingredients from memory and was sad when she said cashew yogurt cause I found plain coconutmilk yogurt but it worked out too. This is delicious. Thank you 😊. We keep cooking like this and I may have to convert fully.

My endocrinologist is strongly recommending I go plant base. It has been difficult because of having to deal with too many ingredients. But I love Tab because her meals are easy with a few ingredients. Thanks Tab; because that’s my business 😃, as she would say.

E Jae she got me two weeks ago. Best decision ever. I felt like I was dying. I had no energy. I’ve had five strokes, heart aneurism, I’m anemic, I have and irregular heart beat, and was born with heart murmurs. After seven days of eating vegan I got my energy back. Even my husband was saying how my skin looks brighter. I’m so looking forward to making this.

Jeepbepfox • no I wasn’t. I wasn’t eating pork or beef already but my health wasn’t getting any better. Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not happening. I said I got my energy back I didn’t say my holes in my heart closed up and I no longer had high cholesterol. I only said I got my energy back. Tabitha gave a similar testimony but it took 10 days for her headaches to stop, is she eating butter soaked bricks as well? 🙄

Looks amazing. If hubby doesn't like onions you can try grating them into food. It works just as well. Or pulse until tiny and it will melt into it 😊

I have heard that it’s best to use a straw (and not metal either for ACV) when drinking the beverage with ACV. The acid is strong and not so good for the enamel in your teeth.
