Don’t ever apologize for a “fussy baby “ in the background……. Leo is part of the vlog now - we’ll get used to that sweet sound 💕
I second that! Love his precious sounds, cause we all know how fast they grow! 🥰
Can we all just sit back and appreciate the utter cuteness that IS Leo?
Love seeing baby Leo anytime! Please don't think that those of us who are mothers will ever tire of seeing your baby boy as he grows.
Never apologise for your baby fussing Trent. Leo is literally weeks old, he’s a baby and most babies fuss. At least he’s letting you know he’s there and has a voice. He’s probably just a bit colicky with a bit of trapped wind or, he needs his nappy changing or he’s hungry. They’re normally the 3 things that make babies fussy. With what he’s been through in his short life, he’s earned that right to fuss ❤️
My main concern, was when I had a baby... My baby...no matter how fussy, bo matter how sleep depriced I was...My baby was my focus. I never left him or her sight for almost a year. And the were very healty... God bless you and your family....Babies just want love and protection....just like us all ❤... My goodness how times have changed...Just loce nd protect Leo....You dont know how much he needs you, advice from and old lady
I love the way Leo keeps his eyes on you Allie. So precious. Leo looks healthy and happy. Good job mom.
It's amazing how Allie looks just like her mom... all the head movements, the smile, the personality... genes are amazing!
Ditto!!! I have been thinking the exact same thing.
It is funny that as I have aged, I see my own dad in the mirror. The others always told me I looked like him, but I didn't see it. I even said, Hi dad, to myself a few months ago and laughed out loud. Genes are indeed amazing. 🙂
The house is beautiful. Tell Brandon we say hello, miss him being there.
@Trent: for the Starlink dish, you don't have to mount it facing south when stowed. The dish has a heater element in it, so even when it snows and it senses it is covered in snow, it heats up and melts all the snow off of it.
Grandma and gingersnap had a big party while y'all was at dinner. That is why he slept for 5 hours.😄😄
Trent remember the older the 'baby' Leo gets the longer they sleep, also every 6weeks the baby often has a growth spurt which mostly they can sleep 12 hrs straight the olded they get. So glad the two of you had time to yourselves which is so important, and love seeing your lovely mum( lesley) with Leo.
Your house is now a beautiful home 🏡 be proud and sit back a little and enjoy Leo as it goes quickly. Xxxx
Leo is not fussy, just learning his environment and loving the love that he is getting. Enjoy every moment, it goes quickly❣️
So true! My newborns are 24, 22, 20 and 17 years old now. How’d that happen?
Lol you can always tell new parents when they are scared to let those who raised them babysit their grandkids. I remember when my daughters were that way. 5 kids each later, they are totally over that now & get mad when I’m unable to babysit. 🥰😁🤣💚 I find it absolutely adorable honestly!
Allie is the worst stepparent Trent has a son that’s like age 15 which she neglected by traveling the world and Ally acts like this is the only child they ever had really
Never apologies for a fussy baby. You have enough to worry about and what other people think shouldn't be on that list. You are doing great!
Mommas know that it happens to everyone. And the sound doesn't last forever.
I second that. You don't have to apologize for Leo fussing. That's how he communicates. Before long he'll be calling out mama and dada when he wants something. I love watching your videos and especially all three of your babies.
Okay so Trent and Allie are always beautiful but there’s something about seeing new parents get all dolled up 🥰😍😍 So happy you got time for date night! Leslie and Leo are the dream team!!
Hey Trent if you’re trying to heat that room, get a couple of the oil filled heaters. They work great and are way safer
We used to buy the one you have and they never shut off, it’s annoying and unsafe
Get the radiator oil filled ones with thermostat
Yes, you can get them at your local home depot. We have on, cause the heater in the house we rent for work does not heat the bedroom, just the hall wall.
Electric is electric. 1,500 watts will always produce 5,120 BTU. Doesn’t matter if it’s a ceramic or oil filled.
Only way you can get more is if you get a heat pump, aka mini split.
Leo's grunt and "he's pooping but these are delicious" 🤣🤣🤣 Perfectly executed there little Leo and Allie 🥰
18:16 The way Leo looks at his Mom, he 'knows' she is amazing!
When I think things are tough, I think of my lil’ firecracker Irish-French grandma, who had her 12th kid... at nearly 47. No tv, no washing machine, cloth diapers, cooked from scratch, maintained a big garden and found the time to volunteer at church. She passed at 94. 🥺
Problems? What problems? 🤔😬🙃🤗😍
I love letting my 4 year old spend time with his grandma. We don't get to see family often, but when we do he is always so excited to see me when I pick him up!! Makes me feel special and it's always good for my mental health!
I am soooo thrilled that y'all take Leo outside. That is the the environment he will be growing up in and he should be used to it from the get go!!! It's not cold air that make people sick.. its germs!!!! BRAVO Momma n Dad!!! Love the coat as well.. that's a brilliant invention!!!!
Yes germs but also more than that it's not having a properly working immune system that has learned to fight things off and there are many reasons for that.
So sweet to see Grandma finally getting a chance to babysit and you two having a date night. It's so important to take some time for just the two of you now and then. Happy New Year! Hope 2022 is filled with friends, family and joy as you watch your son's first year on this planet. You're going to be shocked at how much his is going to change from month to month, even day to day.
Such a True Statement and Well Said!!!! Your guys look truly blessed and happy…. As you Absolutely should Be!!!!I couldn’t be more thrilled for you!! I have to say….. I miss Brandon!!! I hope that he is well and also getting a much needed break!! You’re Mom was so excited to watch Leo, she was just grinnin from ear to ear, and see, the baby was so happily snug as a bug in Grandma’s loving arm’s!!! No worries on your babysitter, she passed with a huge smile with flying colors!!!! ✨👼✨🐈⬛✨🐕
Just up the street in Ogden!!
Trent and Allie, (and everyone else with children) your own children seem to be 10X louder than everyone else’s children! I tell families with small children this all the time. Children are the sound of the future.
Also your goal should not be to raise children. Your goal is to raise adults, self sufficient adults. Start praying for your children to find their place in this world. Remember that the are just on loan from God for just a short period of time then they belong to Him.
So beautiful to watch your story unfold 💓
You never have to apologize for a fussy baby. Enjoy your blessing and we will too. Stay safe.
Was gonna say the same thing! Such a joy to watch both of you become parents.
Of course no one needs to apologize for a baby. However, the more the baby is carried around, the more he'll demand it. The parents will have to do it all the time, including at night. Helicopter parents, very fussy baby/child. They will expect what you teach them. Immediately establishing a schedule equals a very content baby 🍼.
When you take Leo outside make sure to cover his head until you get him into the truck. Then he will be protected from the wind and cold.
Love love love watching your pups running in the snow 🐾❤️🐾❤️
Oh Leo has filled out and looks SO good!! 💕💕💕
The part where Allie was on the deck you captured how beautiful and breathe taking she is!! Allie your an amazing mom and motherhood looks beautiful on you!! Don't worry about being nervous leaving your baby with your mom every mother goes through that!! Just remember you turned out great so your mom can't do to much damage lol!!
You are very right! It's ordinary for a "new" mother to feel some sense of fright leaving their baby with another person. However, in my family my Mother found this apprehension to be quite a disappointment and she felt a deep hurt by my sister-in-law's behavior towards it. My Mother raised 5 boys, she was the eldest in a family of 12 children and was more than qualified to take care of a new born. Yet, my brother's wives voiced anxiety about leaving their children with her. Of course it caused deeply hurt feelings for my mom and my brothers. I never married or had children but I always heard the complaints from both sides. I'm just so glad those days are far behind all of us.
Leslie's home is coming right along. How exciting.😇
Allie and her Mom has the same beautiful smile, smiling eyes. 🤗
So fabulous! Things are falling into place!
Relax absolutely. Your home is beautiful, good job.
New parents always seem scared to let anyone babysit their first born even the grandparents. They forget that the grandparents were their parents. Allie and Lesley have that same identical gorgeous smile.
Grandma has " the touch!" Leo looks right at home!
So Glad you both can finally relax
Merry Christmas and happy new year! Yes it’s now Jan 7 2022.. cold in michigan and snow… love seeing Leo too
That’s life with a baby. Life revolves around them. As it should be. Breathe deep help take care of the baby and enjoy him while you can. As you know they grow up really fast. Time well spent. Happy New Year.
No, I disagree. They're carrying the baby all the time. He now has been taught to expect it. When my baby was born a good while ago, my pediatrician said "Don't let the baby take over your life, because they will, know instinctively they're cute they are. Set a schedule immediately." Best advice ever. My munchkin slept 8 pm to 8 am, every four hours daily. Loved up when awake, knew sleep time was exactly that. I could do everything I needed to do, keep my schedule. No baby or child should be taught to take over the home. Because that's exactly what happens...if we teach them we'll carry them on demand.
Im a single dad and my little girl is 32 now 💖💖 and it was hard sometimes but every day was worth it 💖💖💖 the best part of it is to see her bring her kids up with help from her husband 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼from Victoria Australia 💖💖💖💖 you sleep when the kids sleep 😁😁😁 you will work it out 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Taking some down time is so good for you! I really enjoyed this video of a normal day in your lives. Baby Leo is so adorable!
Happy New Year!
It’s so good to see you kick back and relax for a while, a perfect time of year to do it ❄️
By the way, if Leo seems extra fussy all the time or between certain times. Look at what Allie has eaten as she is feeding him her milk. I learned this the hard way. It turned out with my daughter and son they couldn't tolerate dairy from day one. We switched to soy only to find out my youngest couldn't have that. We ended up with Goat's milk for their early childhood, and the fussies went away. Also watch out for certain veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and the likes. Those can really upset a baby's tummy. What Allie eats will directly affect Leo, because that is what he eats too. It doesn't change contents.
Chocolate and caffeine and other really strong tastes like a lot of garlic, onion, ginger, any strong spice and no booze , these all effect their digestive family . Babies cry, not every time means they are hungry, sometimes they just are uncomfortable , want to know where everyone is, need to burp, are wet, cold, too hot. It’s not always hungry, if his little tummy gets over extended he can be uncomfortable too. Too bad Allies Mum couldn’t be there daily to help out as she has the experience to help. It’s a stressful time adjusting , it’s a major life change to have a child. When you’re stressed he can feel that too so just try to relax. 🥰🤗🙋🏼♀️
You are doing the most important thing you will ever do; taking care of Leo. Every parent is sleep deprived, but that will pass, and you will someday miss these moments. And I think grandmas make the best babysitters, because we are relaxed and babies pick up on that! 😊
So fun watching Leo with his mommy and daddy!
You can have the snow! Glad you made it home safely
When my first baby was born (50 years ago) I didn’t have all the helps that young people have today. My husband didn’t get up to help with the baby men just didn’t do that I was the mom and no one helped. So Allie be thankful for such a good husband I’m sure you are, and Leo is one lucky little guy to have you 2 for parents.
My first born is 25. My husband was no help what so ever. Dang good provider.
@Hoola Girl amen sister....amen....things should go back at those times.....look what happenec. Tears...for our babes...Lord Help this young generation open their eyes... no pun intended...just an old lady , just sayin ❤
You'll get into a groove with him. It just takes a little time. If you start a schedule with him just do your best to stick to it. It may not always work especially when they go through growth spurts cuz they sleep more but try laying him down at the same times and he may fuss and thats ok as long as he's dry fed and in a safe place. You'll get into your groove. I promise it gets better. Mom of 6 here! ❤❤❤❤ 5 girls 1 boy ❤
@MARSYA💦⤵️ I reported this reply!! Go away with your solicitation content!!
I'm so glad to hear someone else has the same advice.......He needs his time to just look around and get use to his surroundings without mom or dad always having to hold him. That will spoil or get him so used to being held, he'll cry when not. Learned that one with my first one..... Parenting does not come naturally - being a good parent is a learn thru experience job. Just like any new "job".....you all will get the hang of it before pulling your hair out.
♥
Agree with the others Ali, has hard as it seems, you must get into a routine of putting him down & leaving him, even if he cries a little, you'll end up making a rod for your back, constantly giving in to his every whimper.. routine is key with babies, its just not necessary to cary him all the time.. you'll regret later.. Ive learnt the hard way with my first.. xx
Loved seeing grandma keeping Leo for the first time and all that beautiful snow🥰🥰🥰 Love yall ❤
Love you guys! May you have a happy and blessed new year with many fun adventures to come.
Never have to apologize my friend, that’s just the beauty of life yeah
OMGosh Leo's face when he saw you after dinner was adorable! He's so beautiful! Looks like Allie with (hopefully) Trent' s haircolor. Grandma, you know your holds! That football hold! He was so comfy on your arm.😍❤🤗
Enjoyable video! Great job editing! You are living life. Thank you for sharing!
Happy New Year 2022 for Trent and Allie family! You are wonderful people! 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
"Mama never told us there would be days like this!" That's what we said when we had our first born baby! It does get better believe me!
Leo is adorable, so glad you got a night out, and feel free to rake a breather . You’ve worked so hard, built a house, grown and delivered a baby. Rest up you gorgeous family.xx
Nothing sweeter than to see a father holding his baby boy. Yes, it’s hard to raise babies. I was a single mom of three, one with a life-threatening disease. You learn a good dose of personal fortitude and the ability to “tread water” until the storm clears. You’ve got this!
this was the most wholesome, heart warming video. i love your family! Ally, you are such a special person, Leo is so lucky to have you as his mom.
Oh my goodness! That quiet morning time with Momma and Leo, coffee and ❄️ was perfection! Soak up every moment.
I just read in your comments that the Starlink dish will heat up and melt any snow on it! Wonderful! Trent, you look so much more relaxed! That's a joy to see. I am so glad you are both learning how to just have some fun again. Allie, you are a knock out! You are always beautiful, but it was fun to see you be glamorous, too. I got a kick out of your concern about leaving Leo with your mom. She is so good natured! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Trent Allie and family 🥳all the best in 2022
Enjoyed watching the snow on the way home! That baby!
It’s good to see you, Trent and Leo glad all is doing well
Good morning! Happy new year and hope your holiday season was amazing with your little guy! 💗
Great vedio, glad you two were able to get some down time after plowing and cleaning.
So nice to be able to enjoy your new home! Perfect first winter to do so! ❄️☃️🔥👨👩👦
Happy New Year to you all, missed you all. xx
It's so cute the way Leo wraps his arms around your arm as though he's clinging on while you carry him, I watched and didn't know whether to be envious of him wanting to be held so much or not. My son was a very contented baby and was happy in cot, bouncy chair or laid on his blanket. We cuddled and snuggled at feeds and whenever else I wanted to but he didn't cry to be held...did I miss out???
No. Lol. I had a clinger as my first (also with colic) and my 2nd baby was an easy breezy baby and I cherished my time with my 2nd more because it wasn’t all consuming. It was really hard with my 1st. At times, I had to put him in his bed and just let him cry so I could have a few minutes to decompress.
my first is 2 weeks old tomorrow, and so far he's pretty clingy. it's very sweet but also frustrating when he won't go down at night until he's had a solid 30 minutes-an hour of snuggling (when I'm tired and trying super hard not to fall asleep). I wouldn't change him, it's just extra work.
I'm so enjoying watching this.
It’s so cool watching you in your warm cozy beautiful home and kitchen… like the reward at the end of a long arduous journey… huzzah to you both for all you do and now we can enjoy that you’re taking much needed breaks for you well being… happy New Years to you, your baby snd dog babies and your whole wonderful family
Love your little family, thanks for letting us follow your beautiful journey! ❤️🥰🙏🏻
Snow is beautiful! Leo is so cute, and growing!
Thank you both for sharing your lives and letting us watch Baby Leo grow
Happy New Year to the whole family! I love your home and everything looks so cozy and warm. I am glad you guys took some time for yourselves. And grandma got to babysit....always a great time. Be well and safe. And know your house is full of love.
It’s nice seeing you enjoy some down time! You guys so deserve it. Big hugs to Leo!! ❤️❤️❤️🦋🦋🦋❤️❤️❤️
I'm a grandmother and I can still remember what I went through with my first daughter. To be honest it sounded like to me he has gas. They have drops to help babies because you don't want to hear him being in pain. I would call his doctor and ask him if that's ok since he was a preemie but not sleeping is part of being a parent. I still haven't had a good night's sleep and my oldest is 46. So sleep when he sleeps. Good luck and Leo is so cute.
Leo knows his mommy. 👋 Happy New Year! Leo is adorable.
Way to go Guys!! Leo looks amazing. Enjoy this time, it does go FAST!
Good morning! Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to a new year with y'all! ❤❤❤
As I watched you guys relaxing, I thought as I looked past you, at all the visible features, how far you have come from the first time you walked your lot, set the forms and all the steps it took to build this beautiful home. Now it is time to enjoy it, if only you will let yourselves. Soon enough, you will be finding and doing new adventures - it is such a part of your DNA to be on the move and before you know it, Leo will be holding the camera and picking out the best shots. God bless you all and I am always looking forward to seeing new movies with as real as it gets content.
Don’t apologize we love hearing his voice.
Happy New Year little family! Lovely to join you in some down time and to see you getting out as a couple for a date dinner. As a grandma I can appreciate how special it was for Leslie too. All best wishes for 2022 xxx
Y’all are adorable! Self care and relaxing is important. Enjoy the snow!!
Leslie is just the sweetest mom!!! Love seeing her ❤️
Happy New year , every blessing for 2022 ,keep safe x
Allie😂 Super cute ‘Tractor Music’ snow plowing drama.
HAPPY NEW YEAR Beautiful 🦋♥️🙏
Allie you looked so cute in that coat and your hair looked beautiful and Leo so nice and warm in there. So glad that your mom got to spend some alone time with Leo and you guys went on a dinner date. Great job clearing the snow Trent! Love and be safe!!’😘🤗❄️🇻🇪
Loved the opening with Trent holding Leo… then the tense moments with Trent on the roof and going against gravity…..then the ❤️ moments when Grandma takes charge….. then the finale when Trent drives back home ( hearts in their mouths in some parts I’m sure) THEN the Sigh of relief from Allie knowing the family is safely back home Great vlogging…. Here’s to a great 2022….. where in Athens the numbers are still high with Omi
Take the time to enjoy all your hard work! What doesn’t get today WILL be there tomorrow 🤗.
life is still an adventure even if it's at a slower pace...nothing wrong with taking it easy you guys deserve it
Happy to have y'all back! I hope you had a nice Holiday :)
Beautiful family you have. The background music was perfect. Trent is one of those guys you would want around if anything went wrong…with anything. That guy can do it all. That drive home looked stressful but I had no doubt Trent would get them home safe.
What a winter ❄️ wonderland you live in! So beautiful. 💜⛄️
Well deserved rest, Happy New Year. Welcome to 2022 Leo ❤
Love the segment of the quiet time with you and Leo early morning wake up…perfection
With my 5 babies it seems like it took a full 3 months of gradually getting into a groove of some kind
Your date break is so good for Leo too.
A fun night out for the two of you & Gramma gets to watch her grandson. A relaxed breakfast the next morning & just kick back & enjoy your lovely home. Take care & best wishes for the new year.
It's so awesome to see Trent working on the house. And, now he's holding his precious baby. Thanks Trent and Allie for all your videos of your house built. And, thanks to Brandon too. Happy New Year!!
Allie: I love the music being played while trent moved the 4runner and was using the tractor/snow blower. You can be so glad you have the tractor and snow blower attachment. I live in a snowy climate and have my driveway on a hill as well.
Can’t wait to see Leo running around the house with the Pups 🐾❤️🐾❤️🥰
Your UA-cam channel is awesome! Good to see everyone including Grandma so happy and blessed. Your life together as a family is truly an adventure. 😊
Hey Trent and Allie: my son was born when I was 26 years old. I had zero help, and my Dad offered to help as he was retired. I thought about it, told him to come on down. From that day forward, my Dad arrived and began tackling a sink full of dirty dishes, vacuuming, and other cleaning tasks as they came up. But, the best of all, Dad took care of his grandson. As time passed, I recovered from a very difficult labor and birth, but Dad still came each day. And Dad was a Godsend. My son, at about three weeks, loved when Dad arrived. They bonded while Dad rocked, fed him his bottle, and kept him warm and dry. After the first warming a bottle and feeding my son, diapering his bottom and yes, changing a really dirty diaper, I relaxed as I knew my son was in good hands. My son was born in 1978 and always followed my Dad everywhere. My son loved his Papa and when Dad succumbed to cancer, my son helped with his care at home. I asked my son if he wanted me to clean Papa, my son replied, “no, I will do it as Papa changed my diaper many times.” So, let the grandparents help as they raised y’all!
Heart melting.
These are happy sad tears.... Great family you have. Sorry about your Dad, but so glad your son and him had such a bond. That is a rare quality.
@Ann Butler I couldn't agree with you more about letting Grand Parents help. My goodness, it's what they have been waiting for! Talking care of their Grand kids is part of the "Great Plan" parents dream of when their kids go off and get married..May I also say, I have been down the same road you have with a parent and cancer. It is very lonely and a constant source of stress for all involved. I lost my Father to cancer in 1982 and my beloved Mother Feb 18 last year. It seemed to me that the only people I could relate to were those who had been through the same nightmare. I'll pray for you and your family this evening and hope that you are all healing or finding comfort in Our Lord. May God Bless..
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Beautiful
