I own a pet sitting business and emotion/engagement matters not only during the consultation with the human but also when we walk into the house for each pet sit. Animals can sense emotion and if a pet sitter walks in with a bad attitude things can go sour quickly. Walk in with a good presence and the animals can sense it and the visit is much better.
