This was a very helpful video. I've been enjoying watching all your macaron videos and looking forward to baking my first batch soon. If you bake the macaron shells one day and then do the filling another day, would you just store the shells in the fridge for a few days or can you leave them on the counter overnight? Also, can you freeze just the shells and are they stackable one on top of the other or would they stick together in the freezer? Thanks for taking the time to answer all our questions!
I would put them in the fridge if you aren't going to fill them right away just for that extra reassurance that they stay fresh. You can freeze just the shell and they are stackable (though I wouldn't stack more than 3 personally), but I find the flavour really penetrates the whole shell when you fill and freeze them. Good luck with your first batch!! I hope it works out for you.
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe thank you for the reply. Made my first batch tonight and they came out okay. Some got little feet but not as much rise as I had hoped. Still tasted good though :-p
Hi Ashleigh! I have a question regarding macaron fillings. Do you prefer freeze dried fruit or using fresh fruit to add to your buttercreams? Would love to see a video in the future about macaron fillings! :)
Hi, I'm planning to sell macarons. As I live in a tropical country I need icepacks for shipping purposes. I would like to know what kind of icepack should I use that is safe?
Some macaron enthusiasts believe in the process of 'maturation' which basically means letting them set before consuming them. I've eaten them both fresh and 'matured' (as in frozen and then thawed) and I don't notice a different in taste at all though there is a slight difference in texture, but not totally noticeable unless you've eaten as many macarons as I have haha.
Thank you, I love seeing macarons in beautiful packaging!!
Esthetically pleasing is important as personally it’s the only reason I even tried a macaroon for the first time. Thank you for sharing
You’re welcome! I can’t resist either when they’re so perfect looking.
I love all your videos!!! They are so helpful.
Mahalo!

Very useful tips 💜💜
🥰🥰
Hi I’m just wondering how long do they take to thaw and after thawing how long will they be good in the fridge ? Thank you
About 45 minutes to thoroughly thaw. Food safety wise they’re fine for about 3-4 days, but I would consume them within 1-2 for freshness.

Will they taste the same out of the freezer or will there be a difference in taste?

What are the sizes of these macarons that fit into these boxes?💙
I want to say they're about 1.5 inches!

Do you ship?
I have in past!
How much per cookie?! $2??
The pricing was for the containers; as for the macarons themselves they range in pricing from $2-$2.75
Hey can I please have a shout for my friend in the next video she loves your video and is uppsesd with your channel her name is leanna Kataev
Is that cheap for a macaron? I feel like you could have charged way more!!!
It’s around the same as what Macarons go for around here. When they’re a little bigger they’re more expensive!
