I love this pattern and tutorial 😍❤️ Super easy to follow.
I just made a couple of these for my sewing table, on one I used a heavy interfacing, and the other I used a medium interfacing, there wasn't much difference but both turned out fantastic, lovely and sturdy too.

I love them but I would like them to be bigger. Could I just double the measurements to make it bigger?
Yes, you can design it however you like. Try to increase the proportions evenly. both height and length The thing to be careful about is the width of the bottom corner of the basket.
