Really good informative video. I gained a lot of insight into what to consider when I suspension mod my 4motion swamper. I never knew drive shaft spacers existed. thanks
Love it... Soon as this lockdown over and u open ill bring mine in for same. Should get wheels/tires from ya self or elsewhere... Do u think u back open in April?
Thanks for that. I often carry 2 x heavy EMTBs (about 50kg in total) on a tow bar mounted rack on my 2006 VW T5 SWB . I'd like to raise the rear suspension only to 35mm. Is that OK or would it look a bit weird?
What is in the back of the van? If you don't carry much weight in the back, you might be better off with some simple spacers transporterhq.co.uk/vw-transporter-parts-styling-accessories/vw-t5-t6-lowering/suspension-accessories/13mm-rear-spring-spacers-t5-t5-1-t6-t6-1/
Hey there guys. I have done a lift on my t5 lwb 4motion with Bilstein shocks and a 50 mm lift on rear 35 on front. 2 Questions if I may. Where can I access the rear diff spacers from? as I can't seem to locate them here in Australia. Secondly is there any sort of spacer to raise the front to match the rear. I would prefer the van to ride level or is it putting to much stress on the cv's to have the front lifted more. cheers in advance
Hello, we sell the diff spacers but I don't know where you can get them in Australia. We can ship there. I don't know of a front only lift option. All ours lift front and rear the same.
why do the Eibach HD springs make you install the little bump stop extender ? Doesn't this prevent upward movement of the wheel ? I have the Koni and Eibach, but with 30mm extra stroke I think I would rather swap the Big H in. Are the springs in the Big H a lot harsher than the Eibachs ? Thanks guys
Hi, I must mention that I am pretty green in this field :D I have a 4motion T5.1, that I am converting to camper, and I want to lift the suspension so it will be more off-road capable. The viehicle will probably spent most of it's time on paved roads but sometime I would like to go off the beaten track and I would like to not be limited by the suspension. Which set would you recommed in this case? Another thing to mention is that in the future I am planing to take my van to South America :)
We have a VW California Coast which has 16 in alloys & sitting lower at rear because as you're saying the weight in the van . Is it a matter of just fitting the suspension lifting kit or do the wheels make a difference?
Hi there, can you tell me more about the green transporter with a chopped rear end? did this van start life as a cab chassis and had a custom tray installed, or did you guys chop the back off a normal van?
I have a valeting van which is bearing a lot of weight, would you recommend springs only at the back or front and rear as currently it's on lowering springs that can't bare the weight. TIA
1. question: these Koni shocks are TWINTUBE or MONOTUBE? 2. question: t5 upgrades has yellow extended b6s, if you should choose, koni or bilstein ( dynamics, comfort, lifetime...)
Twintube. No one make a monotube suspension for the Transporter (yet 😉🤫) Yes the yellow extended b6 is a long b6 but stand B6 internals. It’s a good damper though. As I said in the video, the koni is the most comfortable lift kit i’ve tried.
Hi, I recently bought a t6.1 and am very interested in getting a lift kit from you, but I'm wondering if the VW warranty on the van would be affected??
Just bought a T6 camper, 2019 7000 miles on clock. Loads of extras but one I don’t like, it’s raised really high on black rhino wheels. My problem is the suspension feels like concrete. I’m a tad lost and if anyone could point me in right direction would really appreciate it 👍
I have a steep drive and when I go down my VW transporter occasionally scrapes on the bottom at the front . This is before a conversion. Would a suspension lift stop this I would like to put more chunky wheels on as well so what lift would you recommend?
T26-T30 have the same hub. T32 are different. We show the different options on the website. If you aren't sure, send us a photo of your front hubs where the strut is bolted on.

Glad it was useful
Great video. Really informative for me as I'm looking at a Kombi next year for potholed Irish roads!
brilliant video...so glad i found this....now to make my order
Glad it helped 😊
Could you guys make a video on installing a rear spring spacer for the T6?
Great video , very informative
Thanks for the explanations , good video 🤙👍🍻😉
MASSIVELY HELPFUL!❤
Glad to help 🥰
@THQAutomotive what's the best upper rubbers to use with Eibach +35mm rear springs 🤔
Great video, I learnt alot, thanks
Glad to be able to help. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Thank you for your video, very informative! Could you please explain what happens when your dampers top out?
You loose traction
What’s the Vcds procedure for correcting the speedo?
How much down travel do you still have after the 45mm BIGH lift? Also, will they be available anytime soon? All sold out on the website
maybe anyone knows if there are extended shock absorbers for lift Suspension VW t4?
I don't sorry :(
Great video by the way
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :)

Can anyone please tell me how to raise a VW T4 Synchro? There is nothing out there other than lowering which doesn't help in the outback.
Cheers

Hello, upi want the new Solow LFT lift coilovers.
We have a VW California Coast which has 16 in alloys & sitting lower at rear because as you're saying the weight in the van . Is it a matter of just fitting the suspension lifting kit or do the wheels make a difference?
No they don't make a difference. Since this video things have changed a little. The new Solow LFT kit would be your best option
With the 45mm lift how much ground clearance is gained? Is it 45mm + the standard height or 45mm overall? Thanks
45mm from the standard height. It can vary sprightly based on the weight of the vehicle
Thx guys, very clear
Hi there, can you tell me more about the green transporter with a chopped rear end? did this van start life as a cab chassis and had a custom tray installed, or did you guys chop the back off a normal van?
Hello, yes its a T5 doka, we just shortened the rear end and added the frame.
Hi,
Fab videos.
Would you recommend putting BFGoodridge AT on a T6?
Would it be a better ride, noiser etc?
Current tyres are 245/45 R18.
Cheers
I’m not actually a fan for them. The look good but are really hard, noisy and don’t have a very good wet grip. I’d tend to go with General Grabbers.
Great!

Do you have these Eibach +35 springs for T6 T30 in stock? Do you ship to Australia? Are the Koni shocks the standard adjustable model?
Thanks
Yes we have stock, yes we ship and yes they are adjustable

@@THQAutomotive but bilstein is Monotube when is yellow, b14, b8 and b6 are high pressure shocks (i think). Thanks for feedback.
@@radohuncik9894 no, the Transporter Bilstein is not monotube.
@@THQAutomotive wow, ok good to know.
Hi, I recently bought a t6.1 and am very interested in getting a lift kit from you, but I'm wondering if the VW warranty on the van would be affected??
Only the suspension warranty but you'd be totally changing that anyway
What are those wind deflectors on the grey one and where can I buy them? Thanks!
I don't know sorry, its a customers van.

Some lift suspension does fell like this. What are you looking for look / ride / height wise.
@@THQAutomotive hi, looking for something adjustable so I can put alloys on for summer and then lift a touch in winter with swamper wheels back on.
@@TheBeebg tyre size will be the key here. Give Andy a call in the week 0116 2478156

Yes lifting will left for sure. 35mm lift is the most popular
@@THQAutomotive where are you based?

What wheels and tyres do you have on the green So Low swamper? Do you sell them?
They are custom made steels by Weller wheels. They don’t make them anymore.
How do I find out if my T5 is a T30 or T28 ?

Would a 4motion Caravelle be T30 or 32 spec? Looking at getting a 4mo in the new year
It could be either. Just check behind the wheel as shown on the video
When can we expect to see the Tesla build. I’m super excited to see it done and running !!!

Supa, i have a question, you ship parts to Ukraine? I need too by something part's, ty
Hello, yes we do
Do you need to regear (pinion) with the bigger tires?
