I have the same Machine and I love it very easy to learn, Congratulations on your new machine!!!
Been learning a lot from your videos for a minute. I got the SWD-1501 last year and it's definitely a learning curve. Just wanted to give you a quick list of must haves to return the favor: Heat gun (to soften up that center seam on 6-panel hats), 75/11 & 80/12 titanium needles to sew through that middle seam too, magnetic bobbins to help with lower tension, towa tension gauge to get your top tension right, mighty hoops 5.5 magnetic hoops to get left chest easy. I got more for you bro if you need any help!

I was about to get that a couple yrs ago but because they would only give me the minimum software package,the better software was another $1200 on top of the big price for the machine. That was a deal breaker for me,cause i want to create my own graphics. Instead I bought an industrial commercial sewing machine,it was either or & I still have to get better at stitching. Mayb some day I'll buy that machine for now I got alot to learn w/silk screen printing,heat transfers & sewing w/the beast,leather work too. I'll watch you Big Brandoh,I already know itz a $$$ maker. Besides almost buying that 2yrs ago,I was checking them out yrs b4(all the companies). I thought they were the best.

Congratulations on your 15 needle!! I don't have a multi needle but I think that bottle of liquid and other squeeze bottle is oil for the machine and that's hot that they include a tool box with tools for self maintenance!!

What's up Big Brandoh, I'm curious how you doing with your digitizing? You making your own designs and if so what software are you using? I picked up Wilcom and it's been pretty good, expensive, but so is that embroidery machine you picked up. I started with some software called Embird and it was inexpensive and did a lot of great things, their icon viewer I still use. But once I started really doing my own designs, Wilcom was something I set my sights on and had to get, never looked back or haven't found better so far. Keep the videos coming, it's fantastic stuff, really appreciate you putting the time into them.
Hi. In downtown LA they sell those cheapo hats for $1 for testing instead of $4 hat. Not sure if prices went up. I used to get those a few years back. On 3rd street and also Main Street.

Hello! What made you go with this model? I’m looking in to getting a machine. Considering the starter or something like the one your purchased.
15 needle was the biggest seller for me. i plan on using 6 needles tensioned for hats, 6 needles tensioned for hoodies/polos and 3 needles for specialty thread. made sense for myself to go this route for my statement of work. so far the pre training and regular training made it easy for me to get up and running.

@@BigBrandoh If you haven't already started, I suggest keeping a log or estimate of how many stitches have gone through which needles. A very experienced embroiderer suggested this to me when I bought my machine, she taught classes, I kept a log enough to know which needles were getting more then others. Ten months down the road I started using my 10, 9, 8, 7 first because my 1-6 had the majority of the work, number 9 take up mechanic ended up having serious enough issues that they replaced it under warranty for parts and labor. If I didn't catch it would have been 350 base charge times X hours at 55/hr, the 30 bucks in parts they would have covered.......
