Thank you Kikopup/Emily! You are hands down the best trainer that I’ve seen on UA-cam. These very clear an concise tips are awesome for anyone who is overwhelmed by dog training. Thanks again!👏
I love this style of video from you! Its so helpful and I like sending these sorts of videos to friends with dogs to help introduce them to positive training.
Amazing! I suspect this will also help my dog, who has the opposite problem, of being too soft-mouthed and not wanting to take something for tug. She LOVES her spin tricks and this tip will likely get her amped up instead of frustrated.
Excellent tip. One of my dogs likes to rebite to reactivate the toy and this may well solve the problem. Your timing is uncanny (again) as I've been playing tug a lot more recently and this gives us something to work on and make it more fun !
Just working on my dogs prey obsession. Been watching your stuff, should I completely stop doing wild enrichment while i begin the training? I was Allowing him to track smells, dig holes (sniff down rabbit warrens and other places animals have been) and destroy fallen down trees. I’d learnt from someone I shadowed that all of this is vital for him to practice but he definitely has a prey obsession since doing this more (he’s a terrier bulldog mix so obviously he’s going to enjoy this stuff but I wanted to ask what you thought)

Excellent! Rate of reinforcement is a key variable to be aware of. Your depth of knowledge and dedication to your profession is amazing!
