I remember there being a suggestion for only women to be astronauts with the stated reason being that they wouldn't be distracted by sex. Not that that would be true, but I can see an authoritarian space faring regime to come to a similar conclusion. Also mensa just means cafeteria in Italian but that's probably not so helpful this late.
