- Yeah I know, another Street Fighter amv. The music is Decadence by Disturbed. The only reason Im calling Akuma by his Japanese name is because in Generations, they refer to him as Gouki.

the satsui no hado in Ryu is so tempting and strong that Ryu doesn't have to go through some ritual or training, it just pops out when he's angry

Because this movie says Ryu is Akuma's son. And he pretty much sucks at satsui no hado
Man, this Akuma's OP as shit, mid-throw throw counters, backwards thrusting midair hadokens, midair and mid-attack throws, a Satsui no Hado-infused punch aimed upwards for an excellent anti-air and to cap it all off, no flinch from hadokens!

Yes, Ryu is supposed to be Gouki's son, they are part of a blood line which is destined to be fighters. The blood line is known to be the supreme fighters of the world.

i think the most interesting thing about akuma is that 天 on his back, which means "heaven", in contrast to the meaning of his name, "devil"
It’s because divine killing power was given to him, a human who misused ansatsuken and became a demon through ego and misunderstanding of the martial art. HOWEVER, HE MASTERED THE FIGHTING ART! That’s the beauty of Akuma.

Never was happy with the depiction of Gouki in this... never looked quite right. I think they should have got the guys who did the first SF Animated movie to do it - that was awesome.

After Killing his master, Akuma took his art and killed Ryu and Ken's master for having "disgraced" the Hadou teachings for a peaceful version. Ryu is the closest person he has ever come to being defeated as this battle ends as a draw, so he gives him about 5 years of time to learn the TRUE Hadou before he tracks him down again.

but does ryu knows the history of akuma? because in street fighter alpha the movie he asks akuma if he has any parent so...???

to the point where i know there r 2 vertions of this movie 1 with mothern anime (where they try 2 make it more realistic and detaild ) and the 1 with more aktion seens where the drawins r more oldschool ( witch i think is better ) and if u see the movie i think ull like it y can download it on ares as street fighter 2 alpha but of cours there is nothing like the original (STREET FIGHTER 2 ) where they fight against shadowlaw (aka. M.Bisons army)

Shii i never did watch the Street Fighter animes but apparently they are making the 4th one now based on the 4th game but i don't see it being released untill Super Street Fighter 4 is released.
