The issues stem from Lopez wanting to remain in the spotlight while Affleck strives for a quiet life at home. Affleck currently lives in a $100,000 monthly rental home near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, while Lopez remains in their $60 million mansion.
With Lopez and Affleck possibly headed for a split, a source claims that Lopez “doesn’t intend to stay single” after her next possible divorce. And she might have her sights set on her ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.
“He’s got a girlfriend now, but J. Lo doesn’t intend to stay single long, and she and A-Rod do have unfinished business,” a source told In Touch Weekly.
Lopez and Rodriguez met in 1999 and started dating in 2017. They announced their engagement in 2019 but broke it off in 2021. “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they stated after the breakup.
“For all his faults, they did have an intense connection; he was devastated when they split up,” the source continued. “He insists he’s happier now without her, but they have a lot of mutual friends that aren’t so convinced, and he’s not married or engaged, so at this point, it’s not beyond the realm that they could reconnect.”

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez seemed the perfect couple when they got engaged. After they broke up in 2021, Rodriguez discussed the relationship and how he had “no regrets” regarding his romance with Lopez.

As of July 2024, Rodriguez is dating fitness instructor Jaclyn Cordeiro. The two sparked dating rumors in 2022. An insider told People that Rodriguez and Cordeiro seem like the perfect match because of their love of fitness. However, it’s unclear what their future goals are.
“They are enjoying their lives now, but I don’t know how serious it is,” the source said.
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez seemingly left their relationship on good terms. However, a source told Us Weekly in 2022 that Lopez has no feelings for Rodriguez, as their romance was “filled with drama.”
