Małgorzata Walewska - Les Nuits D'Été - 6. L'Île Inconnue

Polish mezzo-soprano Małgorzata Walewska singing L'Île Inconnue from Hector Berlioz's song cycle Les Nuits D'Été, Op.7, a setting of six poems by Théophile Gautier (completed in 1841 and orchestrated in 1856). Performed at the Muzyczny Festiwal w Łańcucie (Łańcut Music Festival) in 2008 with Polska Orkiestra Radiowa (Polish Radio Symphony) conduced by Łukasz Borowicz, later broadcast by TVP Kultura.
