I have no idea if there are other ways of serving it, I only know of it as part of a roast. It’s sweet, fibrous, and watery. It’s difficult to describe what it tastes like, as it just ‘tastes like swede’. If boiled for too long it can lose the sweetness, too, becoming just fibrous and watery.
