Questions pop up in my head as I read the Bible too! And I came to terms that I may never know. I like finding random facts throughout the Bible as well! I'm trying to read through the Bible in 6 month (started in June) and I got intrigued in Joseph's age when he got captured and just the time laps of every event that was happening. Learned so much! Great video I really liked it 😊
I love you video, I learned so much on how to put God’s word in my thoughts and heart. I am thinking of ordering a CSB large print journal Bible but I wonder if I’m smart enough to think of all these things. I was smart at one time now at 69 I’m not so sure.
It’s not about being smart. It’s about letting the Holy Spirit guide you and teach you. I really just ask questions and then try to find the answers. The best questions to ask are who, what, when, where, why and how
I have to take notes in a notebook because I haven’t found a journaling Bible with big enough font for me. I’ve bought 2 or three journaling bibles and couldn’t use them because the font was too small 😞l your ideas are great.
Hello. I've been looking around how to take study notes, and your information was very helpful. I didn't know exactly what to write about. I'm very new to this bible study. I've bought several bibles, but I haven't really studied it as I should. I'll read a passage or two here and there, and that's it. I mostly listen to sermons given by a certain pastor. I'm just so confused and don't know where to start. I started with Ephesians in one bible and am reading a paragraph at a time and writing down what I think it says, but I'm still lost. I'm not sure if what I'm doing is right. I also started reading John in another bible and writing down some notes. I have a lot of issues in my life that I need help in an a one of those areas includes staying FOCUSED on one thing instead of jumping all around. Anyway, sorry this message is so long. I really did enjoy watching your video and hope to apply some of your techniques to mine. God bless and thank you for listening. 😊🙏
I’ve been praying and thinking over a response for so long. My first piece of advice before spending any time in the Word is to pray. God knows your heart. He knows that you want to understand. Be honest and tell him that you have trouble staying focused. Ask HIM to help you understand HIS words to you. I believe HE will honor that. It’s a step be step process. Not going to happen all at one time. You will learn something new every time you study. The best teacher is the Holy Spirit. I plan on doing another video about taking notes in my Bible. There are so many good places to start. My question is this… Do you know who Jesus is, I mean really no who He is. John is a fabulous to book to get to know Jesus. If you are questioning some things, look for all of the “I AM” statements of Jesus and then study what they mean. If you want to know about what it means to be a Christian, then study James. It’s a very practical book. Don’t jump around. Using a good quality study Bible or a commentary is very helpful. But first and foremost, pray. Psalm 119:18 Also, are you part of a Bible believing church? A church that teaches the Bible? That’s important too. I’ll be praying still for you. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to ask. I’m so sorry it had taken me so long to respond.
It is the Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen. I think it has the “S” on it. I usually get mine from Michael’s Craft Store, but I have ordered one from Amazon too. It is the Superfine, 0.3mm
So I watched a video from someone else that gave instructions on it. Basically, you Google Search Like images of the 12 tribes of Israel. Once you find an image you like (and feel is Biblically sound) you can right click on that image to copy it. I then pasted it on a blank Word document and sized to fit in my Bible. If I can find the video again, I’ll link it below. It’s super easy. And I like printing in color to add that in my Bible too. Again, I’ll try to find the original YT video and link below. Thanks for watching. I hope this helps!
Here is the video link I was referring to: ua-cam.com/video/ojV0A1rew_s/v-deo.html Hope this answers your questions! I have a ton more images saved that I want to add into one of my Bibles
I actually use multiple Bibles in various translations. My note taking Bible is the CSB Note Taking Bible. I got it in 2018. I also use an ESV Study Bible, NASB MacArthur Study Bible, NIV Life Application Study Bible, the She Reads Truth Bible, and my newest one is the NLT Illustrated Study Bible. I have other study Bibles, devotional Bibles, etc…. But the ones I mentioned are my go to Bibles. They are the ones I use on a regular basis.
Unfortunately, many newer translations/published Bibles are not capitalizing pronouns especially a problem when referring to God, Jesus, Holy Spirit. Dealing with that right now studying John 1. Even the Mathew Henry Commentary is not doing it. This is a problem if you are not familiar with the text and do not have previous knowledge of the issue.

What dark pen did you use to write your notes in the Bible that didn't bleed through? I heard Faber C, but not sure which particular one
Thanks!

I think I have an answer for your why in Genesis 1:1 its because he wanted us, he didn't need us.
Yes! Absolutely! How it is to be wanted by our Creator!! Thanks for watching!

Hi, is this a red letter bible?
No it’s not. All black letter text

I think you mean 'instinctively', not 'intimately', don't you?
