I was in a car accident some years ago and injured my back. I was told I would never walk again. The doctors were wrong and I did eventually walk but pain kept me from working and I felt I was a burden to my wife and family. I hated life and made it miserable for my wife and two teenage children. To keep some semblance of peace with my wife I continued going to church although I hated it. I did not listen to anything coming from the stage but one evening they sang this song. I had heard it many times but for some reason when they sang BECAUSE HE LIVES I sat up and listened. The next verse I CAN FACE TOMORROW was my turning point. My wife and I recently celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our two children and two grandchildren.

Jesus came to my room and touched me and I walked out of that hospital and have not stopped walking since. At work 15 years ago I fell off ladder 7 feet to she floor. My surgeon again said he doesn’t know how I can walk into his office or how I stand the pain and I told him through the power of God and His son. They are with me every day. I feel Jesus holding me up every day. My Surgeon just stared at me and didn’t know what to say. I pray people hear Guy sing and share his videos with the world to giver everyone the power and love of Jesus Amen. ❤😊🙏🏻
My sister, mom and I saw him tonight at Messiah College and it was wonderful!!! He asked the crowd who was married 30, 40, 50 60 years... and then 65!! My Mom raised her hand, with a little help from me! He left the stage and walked down the aisle to get to our seats. He was so filled with love and joy and asked her what the secret was for being happily married over 65 years (it's been 68) She is very shy and hates attention but came up with this quick answer "Just do what she asks you to do" In other words, my dad's words are "I just do what I'm told"! Priceless.... then he ended the night with HE LIVES!!!!!!!! Very special moment for mom
I sang with you. I love this Hymn. It is such a blessing every time I hear it. Today I really needed this. Thank you. You have given me the Will to go on. My pain is very severe as well and I at 82 have also been told for many many years. My surgeon said he didn’t know how I was able to keep walking with my cane and walker into his office and withstand the pain and I told him because of God I am able to painfully keep on. Because He lives, 50 years ago, on September 12 1972 at the age if 18 years old I gave my life to Jesus, I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour. Thank you so much! I just found this gem a couple of days ago. My 84-year-old father is passing peacefully into the arms of our loving Savior right now. He will be with the Lord in probably no more than a day or two. This is his favorite song and the Gaithers are his favorite musicians. He is completely unconscious but when I played this for him yesterday, he smiled for the first time all day. Thank you for helping me to have that last good memory of my father. I told him the angels were just waiting for God to dispatch them to carry him home. I told him he's going to fly! And who better to lead him into eternal victory than the amazing voice of Guy Penrod!

I use to could sing high soprano. Than about 5 years a hot phenomenon real bad . I was in the hospital for a month. When I got out I still had to be physically taken care of. When I got to feeling better. I'd found I could no longer sing. I listen to the old gospel songs I sing them. But oh how a batch them up. It breaks my heart 💔 !!!! Because you see I've been singing since I was 3 yrs old and I just turned 71. Maybe some day I'll be able to sing again. I sure pray 🙏 too. There's really not a song I don't love or enjoy hearing and even singing it. I'm in my bedroom alone to where it doesn't bother anyone. Please pray 🙏 with me that one day I'll be able to sing again. My grandfather passed away today, he had the biggest impact on my life and showed me the correct way to live life as a Christian man. We played this song for him every day leading up to his passing. Guy is a very humble and Christian man. I met him in Nashville back at the start of 2003 or so. My husband worked for Gibson guitar and was the general manager and we were leaving the shop in the mall and he was leaving and my husband introduced him to me and he was just very nice. I love his singing.
What a beautiful tribute to God and his Son. He loves us all, who are not worthy of his love. We can live everyday, no matter our situation because we trust and should never lose our faith. August 31st 2024 I had a bad stroke the time they took me to the hospital I could not talk they turn all these tests and I heard these three doctors and one of them say he probably will not be him tomorrow all I could do was cry I couldn't say anything I was so mad it's so hard pain did not even know what was doing or anything 3 days away I was talking 3 days again I was coming home with nurses and other people come to my apartment to help me 6 weeks after that my doctor told me he was proud of me I'd come up so good and I know God was with me and brought me back or I would have died that night I know he's sound for me too why he dropped me back except I need to go and tell the whole the people my story of what hat thank you God and everybody that helped me back the nurses and nurses and everybody else I think everybody here that prayed for me I think everyone of you and God bless you and I am going to walk to the church and tell everybody my story I promise
The great Gene Bartlett used to sing this song at church camp every year at Falls Creek in Davis Oklahoma when I was a teenager. Now as I'm fighting illness forty plus years later the words mean so much more. Thank you Jesus for giving us hope. Please minister and heal all who come here.

Guy is a very humble and Christian man. I met him in Nashville back at the start of 2003 or so. My husband worked for Gibson guitar and was the general manager and we were leaving the shop in the mall and he was leaving and my husband introduced him to me and he was just very nice. I love his singing.

August 31st 2024 I had a bad stroke the time they took me to the hospital I could not talk they turn all these tests and I heard these three doctors and one of them say he probably will not be him tomorrow all I could do was cry I couldn't say anything I was so mad it's so hard pain did not even know what was doing or anything 3 days away I was talking 3 days again I was coming home with nurses and other people come to my apartment to help me 6 weeks after that my doctor told me he was proud of me I'd come up so good and I know God was with me and brought me back or I would have died that night I know he's sound for me too why he dropped me back except I need to go and tell the whole the people my story of what hat thank you God and everybody that helped me back the nurses and nurses and everybody else I think everybody here that prayed for me I think everyone of you and God bless you and I am going to walk to the church and tell everybody my story I promise
