Salaam haleykum brother! As a senegalese who lives in luton/UK , my little brother & I, have gone through the same experience. Honestly, this stereotype over black people in Islam has driven me to do my salats at home instead of the masjid Alhamdulillah, I am not being judgmental but, . It really hurts when *they* look down on you thinking there are better (in colour). People with those negative perceptions should do some researchs about black people in ISLAM, our submission to God/Allah has started way back since Egypt (kushit) where 80% of back people migrated from to spread in whole Africa. (Dr Cheikh Anta Diop, The African Origin of Civilization Myth or Reality).
Assalamu wa aleykum u have 2 stay strong and obedient 2 Allah. Dont let the haters push u out of your rightfull place at the masdjid. Look at it as a test from Allah. Ibtilaah ya akhi. Allah is with the patient
It's a personal experience to me too for more than 20 years now, and still some time having to deal with the evil of the white Muslim race and Kufr, these people can not be called Muslims and one does not need to respect them because they are lost and missed out for the fact that he who hates black will definitely have hard time with the holy prophet s a w Himself as His black grand children will be in charge of the youths in Janna, and He sollallahu alayhi wasallim being black too. Let's not reserve resolution to put it to them that all the prophets pbut were black Africans,so Qur'an is treating black African history and heroes because all the characters/distinguished figures like the all the prophets pbut were black Africans. To this end I can also hold the white so called Muslim influencers accountable for also being part of the promotion of the racial tensions because I watched someone like Dr zakir Naik making open derogatory comments on Timbuktu in one of his speech series. So the situation is a planned war on blacks being with the petro dollar by the fellow white Muslims.
We are the foundation of this deen but white supremacy has infected the Ummah. Many of the rules in deen originated in Kemet but this fact is hidden or ignored by non African muslims. The language of Arabia comes from Kemet as well, and since Hagar and Egyptian is the mother of Arabs and the 5th pillar is based on her, an African woman from Kemet. Why is the Kaaba based on Kemetic spiritual science and we have the black cube with the black stone inside. There is more to this than meets the eye (eye pupil is black). Masalaam
May Allah reward Mustafa Briggs, author of the excellent "Beyond Bilal: Black History in Islam”, for this throroughly engaging interview and his work in uncovering the long suppressed and hidden history of Black people and Islam (prior to Malcolm X and Elijah Muhammad and not focusing on the slave trade). The Brother has done his research and has brought it to the masses - including the story of prophets and companions who were Black and how much of the Qur’an centers on the African continent! Let's be fair and give the contribution of Black people in Islam the same attention we give Muslims from other ethnic backgrounds or geographical areas!al-Allamah Abu'l Faraj ibn al-Jawzi, rahimuallah, a scholar of the highest order, understood this and, as a result, wrote the book "Illuminating The Darkness: The Virtues of Blacks and Abyssinians", which Habeeb Akande (whom he referenced in his talk) improved upon by his similarly titled "Illuminating the Darkness: Blacks and North Africans in Islam" and "Illuminating The Darkness: Blacks And African Muslims in Brazi.l" I strongly recommend Habeeb’s books, along with "The Unknown Arabs" by Tariq Berry, "Islam in Africa Throughout History" by Shaykh Muhammad Aman Al-Jami, "Centering Black Narrative: Black Muslim Nobles Among The Early Pious Mulsims" by Ahmad Muibarak & Dawud Walid - and, with regard to American history - "Muslims in American History: A Forgotten Legacy" by Gerald F. Dirks and "Servants of Allah: African Muslims Enslaved in the Americas" by Sylvaine Diouf.
Thank you for this!

Much needed. MashaAllah
Amazing information, subhanallah. This is crucial! It's crucial information that will help break barriers and destroy ignorance. It's sad that all this is needed for that, but the reality of this "ummah" is even more sad. May Allah guide us.
I have gained more than ever from this video this is really enlightening mashallah brother keep up the good work👏
There is something special in the way he talks, its soothing and attention- grabbing at the same time and everything falls in line with eachother so eloquently subhanallah I wish to speak like him or dr haifa youunis one day insha allah to further spread messages like these where not a lot of the younger people have knowledge on but it could impact their life greatly and inspire them 🤍

I’ve learned so much from this episode. Thank you! 🙏🏾
Really enjoyed watching this! Mashallah this brother is very knowledgeable and speaks so well. Brothers and sisters with one deen !
Really enjoyed the talk, mashaallaah very interesting. Only thing i want to advice is that we should really say alaihis salaam after the prophet's names and Radiallahu anhu after the sahaba's names. We should refer to them with the highest degree of respect and without it, it just doesn't seem appropriate. Other than this i found the talk very insightful. Jazakallaah.
Wow maa shaa Allah, so informative...
Jazzakumullahu khayran

Maa Sha Allah
Keep it up
Islam came to us since the time of Umar bin Qatab in west Africa Mali to Gambia
Ayyy that’s what’s up ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
So educating !
thank The Great Lord I am a Black African 👏🏿
You're Muslim + your ethnic tribe.
African isn't a real thing just like Asian/European isn't a real.
Europe, Asia and Africa are all a single connected landmass the border between Asia and Europe changed hundreds of times and is non existent and totally dependant on the politics of the day.
There is no relationship genetically, culturally or historically between a pastoral angolan and a nomadic Somali herder but they're both African not to mention 9thousand Km. There is no shared genetic, cultural or historical connection between Yemeni and Japanese person who are separated by 14,000km but they're both Asian.
Also black is just a colour that doesn't mean anything if Arabs are white are they similar, related or linked with Irish people? Are Pakistanis black or white? Are Chinese black or white? Denoting yourself as a colour is redundant.
assalaamualikum, can someone post the names of the books that Mustafa mentioned? Jazak'Allahu Khairan
بارك الله فيكم
I definitely enjoyed listening to this Brother... Ameen....
Masha Allah brother, may Allah bless you and Keep you in good health.

Mashallah nice vid am 20 I faced similar problems and I came from a single family IAM Pakistan I by heritage am in bln Germany it's my 5th yr I've changed mashallah
He should really write a book !!
gothiclove84 I’ll read it
He wrote a book beyond bilal
He _is_ the book!
He has a few books
All praise be to allah brother bringing forth beneficial knowledge gems
Can someone tell me where we can find his presentation to listen to ?
As a Muslim I never questioned race and ethnicity of any illustrious person within Islam. These issues can only enrich Islam and add to its pride and glory.
Assalam alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu am in Kenya. How can I get this book.
Interesting. Hadrat Adam = Dark in complexion.
Hawwa was created from the rib of Hadrat Adam. Colour of the rib is white, milky, creamy, yellowish. A blend of these colours = pretty much a spectrum of the colour of human kind today.
The colour of soils of Hadrat Adam mixed with the white of the rib bone. Subhan'Allah, and Allah swt knows best!
Hawa also means black in Arabic.
Makes sense because black is not a colour but all the colours absorbed into one.
@@themadtitan9049 Thanks for the correction. Jzk khair
@@Ismail-Yahya mashaAllah its nice to the ummah having good dialect on youtube in Ramadan
@@themadtitan9049 Aswad is black in Arabic. Hawa means living.
@@karimb972 It also means black. Adam also means dark (udmatul ard). Aswad yes means black. But when referring to human complexion the word Adam is used to mean a dark skinned person. A brown skinned person is called Asmar or shadiid Asmar to mean a deep or darker brown shade.
ua-cam.com/video/wLPl70pmO5E/v-deo.html
Listen to what Sheikh Hamza Yusuf says about the word Hawa.
The Arabic language is a very complex language. I speak it and study it, and what a language it is!
Great topic
Maa sha Allah
So excited to watch this ahhhhh
Asa Brother I'm an older Muslim brother I've known prophet Muhammad was a black man and my people have been hear from the slave trade for hundreds of years I live in California I'm a revert.
Maşallah great video. Just wish the host had a bit more knowledge on the issue to engage in more dialogue and discussion.
Thank you both for this brilliant eposode! And i just learnt wollofs have black ancient Egyptian ancestry
Salaam haleykum @ fatim. Well , as a wolof who lives in luton/ UK reading Dr Cheikh Anta Diop books specifically "The African Origin of Civilization Myth or Reality " has given me a clear understanding in regards to my roots all the way from Ancient Egypt. This culture still present in our society ,languages, architecture, (wolof, serere, peuhl, lebou, mandingue so on..)
@WingchunspecialistSemetic languages originate from ancient Egypt so it is the same thing. Adam the first man and his decendants were in the vicinity ancient Egypt and later scattered around the globe, thus it is the first abode of man.
@@papeabdu2289 wa Alaikum Salam, I am also wollof and in the UK. My writing correlates with and from the findings of Sheikh Anta Diop. Do you notice Arabic letters not words can be heard in the wollof language.
He is such a blessing to the black community! Thank you for all you do ✨
A Big blessing to the Black community all over the world who felt left out and faced racism from some disgusting fellow.. ALLAHU AKBAR
@@justicejay3529 he literally says wrong things about the prophets. Moses & Jesus are not black according to authentic Hadith. They are regarded as brown men with straight hair.. “Adamah” means brown. “Aswaad” of “Sawdah” means black. I do black Islamic figures also myself however I do my research and do not post falsehood! He also blocked me when I corrected him 🤦🏽♂️
Sahih al-Bukhari 3441
Narrated Salim from his father:
No, By Allah, the Prophet (ﷺ) did not tell that Jesus was of red complexion but said, "While I was asleep circumambulating the Ka`ba (in my dream), suddenly I saw a man of brown complexion (whiteish brown) who was the most handsome of all brown men and straight hair walking between two men, and water was dropping from his head. I asked, 'Who is this?' The people said, 'He is the son of Mary!
With regards to Moses Sahih al-Bukhari 3438
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I saw Moses, Jesus and Abraham (on the night of my Ascension to the heavens). Moses was of brown complexion, straight hair and tall stature as if he was from the people of Az-Zutt."
Sahih Muslim 165 b
Abu al-'Aliya reported:
Ibn Abbas, the son of your Prophet's uncle, told us that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had observed: On the night of my night journey I passed by Moses b. 'Imran (peace be upon him), a man light brown in complexion, tall. well-built as if he was one of the men of the Shanu'a
@@younashussain6081 brown is still far from white. also, of all the things he mentioned, this is what you could point out. may the Almighty keep us on the straight and guarded path. ameen.
@@akanbiusman6039where do white people enter ?? Arabs are not white .
@@younashussain6081 the Arabic is not translated correctly.
Even there they are corrupting, so that people don't know the truth.

There is no one-size-fits-all religion. Every Muslim is the religion of Allah. No one inherits it. Every Muslim of any color. Islam is his religion. I’m from somalia my brother Allah bless you
Oha God.
If one you will be here in Mauritanie, I really really really want to meet Cheikh Moustapha Briggs. Please
Have a good day
I love this mashallah
It amazes me how the students of Elijah Muhammad (Muhammad Ali and Malik Shabazz) are always honored but the Teacher is ignored.... and Dr. Wesley Muhammad is doing great work in this area see: God’s Black Prophets and Black Arabia....
The Nation of Islam ain’t even Muslim. They don’t believe that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the final prophet
I love my african brothers
I live their culture
