As long as it's the whole campaign, this alone is reason enough for the PSVR2! Having played the original RE4 in VR on the Oculus Quest, I'm beyond excited for this!

I would start with all the comfort options on - vignette - all that stuff, and after the big "attack" at the beginning, start turnin them off. It's less hectic after that. Def keep those cutscenes 2D tho haha

I played RE2, 3, 7 and 8 in VR on PC thanks to Praydogs mods and I can say it's an incredible experience. The PlayStation ports definitely look more interactive and polished though.

I have fond memories of playing Resident Evil 4 on my Wii, and I must say, the gameplay mechanics and motion controls completely blew me away. It was an exceptional gaming experience that resonated with the kid inside me. However, the thought of immersing myself in the game through virtual reality is mind-boggling. I can only imagine the sheer thrill and astonishment of being right there, inside the game world. That's why I've been holding off on playing the remake on my PS5; I'm eagerly awaiting the VR version to truly take my gaming to a whole new level.

As a PC and Quest 2 player, this hurts my soul I won't get to play this since it's exclusive. BUT, just as RE4 VR the original is still to this day EXCLUSIVE to the Quest 2 store, I understand the need for software that can sell your hardware. I hate I won't get to play this, but the original RE4 VR is still to this day the BEST VR experience I've had and I never get enough of it. Enjoy this my PS5 gaming brothers. I shall cheer you on in reserved jealousy from afar.

what suprise me about re village vr is how the combat is so different and evolve from the standard one. You can freely use your knife and gun, and no animation delay you can even use your fist
in pc a person made a VR mods for RE7, 2 and 3 and they even had the reloading and hand movements, so it's not impossible to capcom, they just don't want it

This is a VR game. It makes no sense doing a VR only when they make more sales without then get paid by PlayStation for a PSVR mode. Pretty sure it’s the whole game but in VR

Of course is different. But not necessarily better. I prefer the normal gaming. I m playing like 5 6 hours after work and i m too lazy for vr. I can play VR for like 1 2 hours only. Long session in vr are painfull for me.

I was disappointed we got no Half-Life: Alyx, but I will say RE4 VR on Quest 2 and RE Village are some of the best VR experiences I've played, so I will have to get this when it comes out too. I bought the normal game on Xbox Series X due to that version having Dolby Atmos, but I don't have an issue buying it again for VR on PS5.

Playing village in VR was such a huge psvr 2 highlight for me. Compared to that, most of the games (even if enjoyable) still feel like tech demos or some indie title. Can't wait to play another quality game in VR - there are still so few of those.

Most likely they won't. They did not with 7 or Village. Or even the RE4 VR from Quest. Thing is Sony payed for them to make this, just like with 7 and 8. And Meta paid for RE4 VR for Q2. No one on pc side is paying for a VR mode to be made, so don't count on it happening. But pretty sure Praydog will make a mod, if it doesn't allready exsists

Really wish they would do a VR mode for RE2 the zombies would be absolutely terrifying, the part where you crawl under the shutter door would be so intense id probably dolphin dive for the door forgetting it’s a video game lol.

what suprise me about re village vr is how the combat is so different and evolve from the standard one. You can freely use your knife and gun, and no animation delay you can even use your fist

in pc a person made a VR mods for RE7, 2 and 3 and they even had the reloading and hand movements, so it's not impossible to capcom, they just don't want it

This is a VR game. It makes no sense doing a VR only when they make more sales without then get paid by PlayStation for a PSVR mode. Pretty sure it’s the whole game but in VR

This is literally a full game on its own. So they already do. They could have been greedy and sold this as a separate port than the 2d. I think it honestly be valid. This mode sits and arguably trumps the original 2d mode 🔥
@@bryansbag there's a big difference between a vr mode and a vr game. vr games usually have full interactivity with your environments to increase immersion, while this game was clearly made for flat play.
@@jkeebla You must have not played this "mode" then. This mode has full user gun interactivity, and overall way more than most Vr "games"

Waiting for it!!!!! PSVR2 is really making me buy new games. Completely different experience compared to TV version IMO
Of course is different. But not necessarily better. I prefer the normal gaming. I m playing like 5 6 hours after work and i m too lazy for vr. I can play VR for like 1 2 hours only. Long session in vr are painfull for me.

I was disappointed we got no Half-Life: Alyx, but I will say RE4 VR on Quest 2 and RE Village are some of the best VR experiences I've played, so I will have to get this when it comes out too. I bought the normal game on Xbox Series X due to that version having Dolby Atmos, but I don't have an issue buying it again for VR on PS5.

As someone who’s played this already on quest it’s the greatest game I’ve ever played. Everything is just perfect there’s no glitches nothing just absolute perfection
And the best part is the quest version is a joke compared to this

Bro… re4 is my childhood game… besides from like jak and dexter/ratchet deadlock, I thought re4r was it for me when it game to gaming but now I realize re4r Vr is the final true end for me
I doubt it'll come out this year unless it somehow comes out in November, but I'm still very excited and patient.

@@kayra-bg2si I know that the original on the quest 2, however I already beat everything and theres nothing to do. All costumes unlocked, mercenaries classic + challenges done, all special weapons, beat game in 1:40:26
I've been waiting for so long
Playing village in VR was such a huge psvr 2 highlight for me. Compared to that, most of the games (even if enjoyable) still feel like tech demos or some indie title. Can't wait to play another quality game in VR - there are still so few of those.
I can’t wait to finally play this game once the PSVR2 update comes out. I’ve never beaten RE4. I only played it a little bit on GameCube back in the day.

Most likely they won't. They did not with 7 or Village. Or even the RE4 VR from Quest. Thing is Sony payed for them to make this, just like with 7 and 8. And Meta paid for RE4 VR for Q2. No one on pc side is paying for a VR mode to be made, so don't count on it happening. But pretty sure Praydog will make a mod, if it doesn't allready exsists
