I would say, at least in my opinion, one of the things that makes you different is that you are a mother and personally seeing how you navigate your life as a mum is very inspiring as a mother myself. Not that I don't enjoy non parent content, I do, but it REALLY helps that you are a parent.
Thank you for saying this, that means a lot to me! I get intimidating seeing all the vintage channels with no kids doing all the aesthetic things, and I'm over here like.. my kid's refusing to wear a shirt today. LOL.
Yes! Agreed. I’m a homeschooling mom of 5, and I also love everything vintage, and I can say that you are so genuine and it’s very encouraging. Beautiful aesthetic videos are great and have their place, but at the end of the day, it’s the “real” videos that are what we need. And seeing your kids without shirts (like your story time in your cleaning video 😂) really warmed my heart because it reminds me of my own children! ❤️
I love your videos. Do it girl ❣️ideas , do a simple 50s makeup then say ok now going to change it up for a makeup in the cottage core. I love whatever you do. Makeup ,clothes styles ,thrifting anything vintage how to photography for outside inside. Inside vignettes, styled tables ,make up table vanities ,flower gardens everything‘s good ,if you like it show it ,do it ,go ahead I’m with you💕
I love your channel, I'm new to it. I love what you already do and I like the idea of branching out into canning, foraging, farmlife, etc. There is a channel I love that posts a lot of foraging and such (Atomic Shrimp) and I would love another channel that posts more with your awesome vintage flavor. The strawberry dress is fantastic I am so happy you were able to find one. The shoulder ruffles in particular are very flattering and fun. Seeing you find and use brands that still make products that were around in the 50s would be great. Keep posting I love your videos!
Omg, that first line😁 I literally just came in from spraying weeds in 100F weather, and me too girl. Me too😵🚿😉 You are so cute! And I look forward to your ideas👍👍👍
Love all your ideas - and so many are what I do, so that is fun for me! The budget, lifestyle, do it yourself housewife-type/farm stuff is fantastic. Love the basic 40s/50s as well - just super interesting to have on in the background.
What a fun video and that dress is adorable! I most enjoy your look books and plus size styling tips. I like the vintage content. I’d love to see you make some plus size simple vintage dresses.
Sooo beautiful. 🌟. I’m looking forward to your 50s content. I’m in the process of turning my house into 50s style and it’s been really fun. Can’t wait for your next video. 😊👌🏼
I've been obsessed with videos of people canning, baking, gardening, etc. Lately. I would definitely enjoy that sort of content from you ❣️ love the strawberry outfit!
Love the look and outfit! Super cute as always. The 40s farm type content sounds fun and useful. Budget friendly and sustainable living tips from the past. Also, I couldn't help thinking watching you is like a breath of fresh air and realizing I would've made a cheesy pun if I said that out loud.
You and my sister in law are slowly making me into a strawberry loving gal! This is glorious! I love your content, pretty much anything you put out I’ll enjoy.
L🍓ve the vide🍓. Strawberry Princess! Kenniy is such a wonderful artist. Her crowns are gorgeous. Yes to canning, foraging, and baking content. You already know I'm a forager, so I'm always up for that content. I would love to learn more about canning. I'm going to try to make some strawberry tree fruit jam and a strawberry fruit crumble with recipes I found this year. I've never canned before, but my tree produces so much fruit I don't want to waste it this year. I'm also not much of a baker, so I figured a crumble is a good thing for my limited baking skills. I would love to see any videos with simple baking receipes that you love. 🍓🍓🍓
Oooh you've never canned before? I'm definitely going to make canning videos and generally what I'm baking, most of what I make is pretty simple because of time lol
Did they use a lot of legumes and dried lentils, peas, beans etc. in the 50's? I think it a a great way to stretch a budget. Gardens also...planet friendly ideas are great. The crown was beautiful with your dress!
I am a recent subscriber making my first comment. I love your videos, your style, your authenticity, and your creativity. Like many others I adore vintage anything, and especially the fashion and femininity of that era. Your videos are interesting, educational and inspiring; and your children are gorgeous. Your calming lovely voice is intoxicating and I really look forward to your future videos and self sufficiency journey. I love to sew, knit, crochet, make bread, and began making my own soap a year ago. Warm wishes from South Australia 🍓🐾
@@WithLoveKristina too cool. She was my favorite when I was little. Love your eyeshadow too. Reminds me of the Cherry Urban Decay that just sold out at Sephora before I could get one! Really love your color palette.
Such a cute dress! Your crown is awesome! I love your plans for your channel. I always look forward to watching your content. A lifestyle person i watch on youtube said we should make our beds in the morning. I wanted to write to her that 50s housewives had to air out the beds before making them. LOL!
This look is absolutely gorgeous 😍 I love all your videos, all the ideas you mention were amazing! Your videos are always great quality, would watch any video you make! I don't know how you do it, being a full-time mom and making such quality content, I'm in awe everytime you upload!
lol here' the secret: if my content is made, my living room is a mess. YAY! ;) It's true though, usually on my content-making days, my house doesn't get cleaned. I pretty much only ever do two jobs. But I'm working on purging a lot of clutter that isn't useful so that it's less work to clean up!
I think it would be super fun to try to recreate a victory garden. I guess its just a regular garden but the government gave advise on what to plant. Since its already August maybe next spring. 🤔 It would be interesting for your vintage channel.
I just found a strawberry circle skirt at goodwill this week! it’s not vintage, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to style it! I’m hoping to put something together soon. Thanks for the inspiration, your look was amazing!
I recently subbed to your channel, and I've been subbed to Rachel Maksey for a while! I love this video, it's like "Strawberry Shortcake, but make it 50s!" Super cute!! I also love frugal/money saving videos (I stay at home, hubby works long hours, always trying to make it work). I think a frugal 40s/50s video would be fun, even if the tip doesn't work out, that's good to know too!
Hi Christina I just want to let you know that I've been watching your channel for well about a year or so now and I just want to tell you good job at what you're doing I share your channel every chance I get so that I can hope that you get other followers because your content is just wonderful even your little ramble get ready with me videos which I love by the way and you're right we do get to know you and hang out with you and you're just a wonderful person all the way around thank you so much for everything you do. Stunning as always.. let your beautiful shine !!!
Love your outfit! All your content ideas sound great. I struggle with figuring out how the women of the 50s got so much done in a day...AND still looked put together at the end of the day! Could you do some videos on popular vintage diy crafts? 😊 Thank You!
This look is just beautiful! I especially love the hair and the crown. I never heard of pickling watermelon rinds; are they good? I look forward to seeing your upcoming videos and ideas. Thank you!
I’ve been on UA-cam 5years and just reached 1000 subscribers so feel good to be where you are because I’m slogging! But yes I’m excited for book content and I love my strawberry queen xx
I think the slow growth is easier on the creator, I know many of the viral channels like Abby cox etc have dealt with more meaness and judgement. I love the idea of the food and home content, I can't wait to see it. My nana used to always pickle and do jams etc so I would be very interested in it and learning since she is gone.
Yes, this is why I'm half like "slow growth is nice" and half "I wish I could grow quicker". I remember when Laci went viral, her experience with it was really intense! Especially because she's so perfectly aesthetically 50s, she got so many comments about how she was doing everything wrong, or she shouldn't have technology if she wants to live in the 50s, or horrible comments about how her husband must beat her UGH. Thankfully her comment section has calmed down and returned to normal, but for a while there it was just people discovering her channel and making a judgement based on the interview someone else had done and edited about her, and it was just 5 minutes of a 12 hour long day filming and... yeah, all the judgements were frustrating! So ya know, it's a toss up. I'd love to grow a bit faster BUT... slow growth is nice because the community is much nicer!
Belle poque now has a dress with strawberries and polka dots. You may already have it, but I wanted to let you know as I think it is newer to the Amazon listing.
They come out with it every year! I have that same dress in a different print and it didn't fit me the way I wanted it to, so I haven't ever gotten it hehe.
@@WithLoveKristina bummer it doesn't work for you. When I noticed it the other day I thought of you. I feel like I miss some of their prints on Amazon. For the longest time I just purchased from pinup girl, hell bunny and brands like that. I feel like the price increases are substantial these days and not all of them are made in USA or UK.
Given the state of the world ...I've noticed some vintage channels talking about how the generation of the 40s made things last during wartime. I think people are starting to try to be more thrifty. I think a lot of people, myself included are getting the sense that hard times may lie ahead.
I’ve noticed this too. I’ve always been interested in living a more thrifty and sustainable life but it’s definitely becoming more of a… trend? Maybe not a trend. More important to people!
I don't know why, but this video is so cozy and beautiful, I think this is a new level of aesthetics.🥺😍 By the way, I also have the aesthetics of desserts, do you want to see?🍓
Maybe the word you are looking for for the video is “how to be a 50’s thrifty housewife” or something along the lines. :) I love your content and relate to having to hurry when you have a baby to breastfeed. ♥️
Mid-Century Frugal Fabulous? Mid-Century Homesteading Mom? Since you're talking about tips and tricks that could fall under "frugality" and you said 40s and 50s, that can be grouped as Mid-Century.

Would love to see the every day cooking, gardening, money-saving ideas inspired by 40-50’a farm life.
I'm definitely going to do that!
