Thank you for supporting St. Jude. They are a great organization and the money is well spent. We give generously every year to help them in their mission. Also, thank you for the lipless crankbait tips. I don't fish that many lipless, but I'm starting to come around in the Winter months.
Good tips Miles. I love throwing a lipless this time of the year in FLA. Strike King Red Eye Shad, 6th Sense Quake, and the Lucky Craft LV 500 are my choices. Thanks again for your continued support of St. Jude. My son was born at a St. Jude hospital, and we are thankful still, 24 years later. ✌
I've found the Red Eye to tangle more than any lipless I've ever thrown, especially letting it fall ...it sort of spirals and flips vs flutters. My favorite to let flutter down is the Yo-Zuri Vibe ...almost never hangs.
The entangled crankbaits are called 'pike chains' in Europe 😂😂. I missed Jerkbaits and Swimbaits as a category in this video 😮😮. Jerkbaits like Salmo slider or Westin swim are quite popular in our waters
Do you think the Booyah lipless is exactly the same as the old Excalibur? I’ve heard some say it is and others say it’s not. I don’t have either to test to see.
I have found many hardbaits, refurbished them but haven't caught any fish on them. Just because a lure is popular elsewhere, doesn't mean that it will be a successful bait where you are fishing at that time.
