- Watch as the second police motor officer rides with both hands in the air indicating to the pedestrians to remain on the sidewalk as the motorcade passes. This is a police motorcycle escort of an unmarked police car with lights and sirens.
Le deuxième motard roule avec les deux mains en l'air afin d'indiquer aux pietons de rester sur les trottoirs lorsque le petit cortège passe. Bravo !

I'm not sure if it's only in Paris or all of France but it's one of the basics they must have, driving without hands and almost standing
The tests for the motorcycle group is the same for all the French territories but you will see things like this mostly in big cities as Paris because there is a lot of people

La FJR 1300 a remporté l'appel d'offre de la PN face à la 1200 RT-P, donc on va la voir de plus en plus. Et les 1150 RT vont disparaître.
La 900 Tracer a remporté l'appel d'offre pour le remplacement des TDM 900 les plus anciennes.
Ce sont les première moto d'après la "prohibition", elle font respectivement 146ch pour les FJR et 115ch pour les Tracer.
Les 1200 RT étaient bridée à 107ch (au lieu de 125ch) et les TDM 900 sortaient 86ch.
Merci pour ces précisions, cependant la puissance n'étant rien sans la maitrise, je pense que les policiers n'ont que faire qu'une moto fasse 115 ou 146 poneys, surtout pour les missions urbaines. Après pour tout ce qui est de l'ordre course-poursuite et tintouin, ça peut surement faire une différence, encore qu'on peut déjà rattraper pas mal de monde avec une moto de 100ch... je me rappelle avoir discuté avec les policiers et gendarmes motocyclistes, tous n'ont d'yeux que pour la partie cycle des béhèmes, il n'y a que les douaniers roulant principalement sur autoroutes qui préfèrent l'allonge des FJR (d'après les dires des personnes avec qui j'ai pu échanger)... donc dommage, dans un sens.
Après, sur des critères purement esthétiques et subjectifs, une fois habillées en robe de police je trouve que les FJR on plus de gueule, elles font plus "moto de flic" que les RT-P...
Sam O'Connor en ville oui, d'où le chois des Tracer. Mais sur autoroute ça fait une énorme différence.
Ça joue aussi sur l'agrément de conduite (plus du au bridge qu'à la puissance).
Enfin bon, je cherche pas à faire une débat qui est clos maintenant que les législateur ont reconnu que le bridage est inutile.
Je voulais juste souligner que ce sont les première moto non-bridée. (Et accessoirement capables de dépasser les 210).
L'agrément de conduite, encore une fois en situation extra-urbaine je veux bien, maintenant pour du Paris pur, moi même conduisant une moto de 70ch et une autre 105ch (non bridée), pour moi la conduite est bien plus plaisante sur la "petite" à l'intérieur du périphérique...
Et j'avais bien compris cette absence de débat sur la puissance, une simple remarque et qui, de toute façon, rend un moteur bien plus naturel que s'il était castré puisque les bridages sont très rarement indétectables au ressenti... mais moi la puissance, je n'en ai que faire, 100ch me suffisent amplement pour tracter madame et tout notre barda en haut des cols de montagne :p
Ah non non, c'est des 1200 RT sur la vidéo, même si je confirme qu'effectivement les FJR vont revenir en force.

There is also no two cops on a scooter in France except for personalities and because the cop behind is a sort of sniper. So, obviously, you just didn't see it because there was not this in France before but some foreign personalities ask this sort of protection. In France, it's that.

And according to the style, we don't care about what looks « viril » from the US criterias : we have one of the best motorcycle brigades of the world and they win in many competitions.
