I absolutely love the fact that it gives the sort of snapping turtle example earlier on, how its' tongue mimics a worm to draw in fish. My question is how the planet creature *knew* Earth was the character's home. Maybe the sorta Jupiter thing was it slowly trying to figure out what would draw you in? Plus, the similarity with the planet pulling you in via the almost 'tongue' just like a snapping turtle is so amazing and terrifying all at once. The sheer speed it would've had to have in order to chase you is equally as horrifying, too. Just lurking and waiting for such a long time, like a persistence hunter chasing down its' prey until it is too exhausted (or in the ships' case, damaged) to keep running.
To be honest it still doesn't make any sense that it uses that much energy for such small prey- that's basically like running a marathon for a single gain of rice 💀

Can it change its appearance, or is it just stuck looking like earth? 5. What are the hole planets, eggs? Mimic sheds? The drained husks of other planets? I like how this game introduced a new theme for typa games like the idea of going over to different celestial planets and collecting data about them, we've seen it in iron lung in the "sea" and now in space, the fear factor of this game is actually playing with your nerves as noone would expect a plant having a heart beat and the planet being introduced late in the game is alone is a smart move, you're expecting the worst but it's not happening so you're always in fear of what might happen later
Hi BigGaming! I just wanted to let you know how much your videos have helped me. I’ve been struggling with depression and some not-so-nice thoughts for a while now, and when I found you I was actually very interested. I’ve had a love of horror and everything that is dark and creepy for a long time, and your channel is the perfect balance of wholesome and spooky for me. Your little mini therapy sessions have helped me a lot, and I’ll often just binge your older videos so I can hear that “Hey friends, I’m glad you’re here.” I’m having issues at home, so it’s easy to feel overlooked or like I’m not quite enough. This helps me feel seen, and like there’s someone who really would miss me if I just left. Thank you for everything you do❤
I do love how there are some actual sounds of the planets we know in this game. I think it's the electromagnetic currents that come off the planet and are put into audio waves for us to hear. It's amazing how eerie but beautiful the planets sound.
Also, I know it’s very late and you already played run flesh, but I have another theory of what happens what is the monster shifted into when he ate him? so he could bark and lead you to him so basically my period was in the tunnels with us, but by the time we got in there, it was too late. He already got eaten.

the fact he checked the radio before finding out what it truly was at the final one was what made it a truly horrifying twist, i don't think it would have been that horrifying if he took the picture first due to it being more predictable. truly a coincidence how he checked the radio first.

Hope your doing well and please continue to be such a positive light in the UA-cam Community
Fun fact: most planets “sound” like that. Since planets create radio waves that we turn into sound. Even stars and black holes create radio waves and the sounds they make are. Horrifying

When I played this I totally freaked out while taking the picture of the ‘Neptune-like’ planet because I noticed that the ‘holed planet’ was right there peeking in the upper right corner and if you take a picture again it’ll just disappear.

I'm not even finished watching but I just know that this, like always, will be epic! Thanks for the playthrough!
The second sound is actually a real sound picked up by NASA while flying by Ganymede. No one knows what caused the sound, but it was likely from interference from other satellites around the moon.

That space squid is special because normal space squids would just gobble you up when you’re looking at them, but that planet when you look away, it starts moving
This game was incredible! It's so eerie having movement and vision be two separate actions. Having celestial sized organisms is so boldly unrealistic that it paradoxically immerses me more in the fantasy. Would love to see what this dev can do with a bigger budget and more time.
You are right on one thing: the beings mimic planets in order to attract prey. That's what the whole "snapping turtle tongue mimicing a worm to lure in fish" article was about. But there is one thing that you have missed or didn't mention: the beings look like (or even are) cells that are dividing. The second article mentioned cells and how one can look like a star in supernova. If you look at the foto's of the being(s) in order, you can see that it starts off as a ball made up of big cells and then slowly becomes a clump of smaller cells before it starts mimicing Earth. My personal theory is that they are "born" and then slowly grow into their mature form, which has the ability of mimicry. There is also the first article, which mentions that habitable planet LK-2 doesn't exist. It doesn't exist because it wasn't a planet. It was a being mimicing a planet. It ambused the space station (which is the Magella Science Expedition that went missing) and then migrated somewhere else.
@@renantemerin9248 yes and i think as we saw different ones they were probably growing up, the one with big holes was probably a baby then the one with smaller holes was like a teenager then the earth like planet was the adult
I wonder if the mimic planet was a hatchling or an adult, because if it's a baby, that implies they get bigger. Or could metamorphose into something even more horrifying. And does it have parents? If so where are they? What sort of prey are they even attracting, there cant be that many ships from earth in that area to keep it fed long term, so is there alien ships it eats too? The longer you think about it, the more interesting it gets.
Did you know the reason you can record audio is because if you measure the radio signals from planets, black holes, stars, ECT you will hear something like that if you convert it into sound
In early :3 I like to listen to your videos while I draw and I swear to god your gameplays have some sort of supernatural powers because why does my art turn out better when I listen to play while I draw 🗣️🔥⚠️
My theory is that the Magella vessel/the broken space station is that it was someone else sent to photograph planets before you that got hit by something
Your voice is so calming. I love just listening to you talk and doze off. Of course, you're playing a horror game, so I might get startled sometimes. But it's worth it to listen to your voice 😊
There should be a Voyager 19 Movie, but you star in it, and it uses the audio from your play through. It would be so funny. Seeing you just sipping your drink while hooked up to life support in a cramped space, trying not to die
I really like how realistic the sounds of the planets are, it sounds a lot like real planets, wish I could play this, also it’s great how all the stars are different colors, not just yellow or orange, btw about that blue star, I’m pretty sure blue is the hottest color of a star, the attention to detail is amazing
Imagine a space game with no mood setting or music or unrealistic settings and sound effects. Just the horrors of space. It could still have aliens or have you stranded in space but it’s just as the situation would be. The horror of quiet. The horror of loneliness. The horror of not knowing when something bad will happen
16:06 he started crying because of how scared he was ☠️ also tip if you play it again if the lines turn purple that means you are about to run into a meteorite
Here is a terrifying theory: Since there is a trillions of galaxies and more, there is actually a good chance that there is a living planet that eats stuff like the one shown here
the reason the screen and the power getting worse is because the radiation in the space damaging the equipment it says that in the start

OMG, I hope you enjoyed the con! I am glad to see you back making videos and putting smiles on our faces again 😸
It was a blast but I missed you all so much!
We miss you too
Also, I know it’s very late and you already played run flesh, but I have another theory of what happens what is the monster shifted into when he ate him? so he could bark and lead you to him so basically my period was in the tunnels with us, but by the time we got in there, it was too late. He already got eaten.
U member nice
11:17 "Oh, suns can be blue i think-"
*_The most random noises you could ever hear plays_*
Oh, and also, the "other Jupiter" couldve been Aphrodite, because that planet was orbiting a blue star, and according to some people, Aphrodite orbits a blue star.
the fact he checked the radio before finding out what it truly was at the final one was what made it a truly horrifying twist, i don't think it would have been that horrifying if he took the picture first due to it being more predictable. truly a coincidence how he checked the radio first.
when i heard the heartbeat of the hole planet i thought something might live inside those holes
Because their heart IS in the holes.
22:02
I was gonna say that it was a Dyson Sphere. A machine of science fiction built around a star to harvest it's energy. But then I realized he wasn't looking at the star. I don't know what that is.
It might be a mimic that just had lunch

I have been watching your videos non stop recently and every single one has brought me so much joy and peace.

This game is so cool! I'm a sucker for anything horror-related and anything space-related, so this video is an instant 10/10 for me just on the concept alone. The way it was written, especially the initial introduction to the heartbeat and the build-up to the ending, is absolutely out-of-this-world (Hehe, see what I did there?). I'm not even finished watching but I just know that this, like always, will be epic! Thanks for the playthrough!
The second sound is actually a real sound picked up by NASA while flying by Ganymede. No one knows what caused the sound, but it was likely from interference from other satellites around the moon.

Edit: just got to it and it doesn't say that. It says "already photographed". I took a screenshot and enhanced it. Sorry to bust your bubble, I was excited for it too. 😔
No it doesn't say that. Mostly cuz it wasn't a Mimic. The Mimics replicate habitable planets to lure humans. AND it doesn't even have a heart beat.

Big gaming! I’m on vacation in Las Vegas! I’ve been having a great time and I thought I’d tell you about one of my therapy sessions I had a few weeks ago. I’ve been feeling real bad and when I told my therapist about it and she asked, ‘well, what stopped you from doing anything to yourself?’ And I thought and eventually told myself, i may not feel like anyone cares about me but, you do big gaming. You care about all your subscribers even if you don’t know they even exists. And that made me feel amazing. Thank you so much.
The pain I feel every time he calls a planet a moon
Every time you upload my day is made! Your voice is soothing, plus the commentary is perfect as always! Plus as someone with a fascinating for space, this is perfect for me! The art for the welcome monsters are awesome, and the talking before every video makes me feel warm and fuzzy + makes me confident! The way the thank you was so sincere and all! You’re welcome, and keep up the good work! ♥︎
i really need to start watching this channel more often when i’m in a bad headspace, not only is watching gameplay a good distraction but the little chats at the beginning are always very comforting and genuine. despite talking to a mass of people through a screen it still feels direct (towards every individual viewer) and it relaxes me even for a few minutes.
thank you for that.
also if youre reading this dont forget to drink water
I'm sorry to hear about Lily. My cat has been lost and I fear the worst. I feel awful and this video brought me a bright spark today. Thank you Big G
These therapy sessions from big is actually heartwarming😭😭
Big Gaming always has the most wholesome intros ever.
That space squid is special because normal space squids would just gobble you up when you’re looking at them, but that planet when you look away, it starts moving
33:44 luring its prey
i swear i love this game now
This game was incredible! It's so eerie having movement and vision be two separate actions. Having celestial sized organisms is so boldly unrealistic that it paradoxically immerses me more in the fantasy. Would love to see what this dev can do with a bigger budget and more time.
This is quite a taste for horror
The planet LK-2 could have just ran away since these so called "planets" move without an orbit
@@Aether_deathSo it's some sort of giant mimic planet creature?
Bro people in this comments type who essays I swear
Did you know the reason you can record audio is because if you measure the radio signals from planets, black holes, stars, ECT you will hear something like that if you convert it into sound
In early :3
I like to listen to your videos while I draw and I swear to god your gameplays have some sort of supernatural powers because why does my art turn out better when I listen to play while I draw 🗣️🔥⚠️
Bro just kept taking pictures insted using the navigation and thrusters to escape
Yeah like he could've just navigated away and maybe survived
21:50 cheesgrater planet
His face whenever he turns on the radio is comedy gold
My theory is that the Magella vessel/the broken space station is that it was someone else sent to photograph planets before you that got hit by something
By hit my something it could be the planets with holes
Your voice is so calming. I love just listening to you talk and doze off.
Of course, you're playing a horror game, so I might get startled sometimes. But it's worth it to listen to your voice 😊

Yess! Had surgery last week and am bound to bed, gonna have a blast with this video :D
There should be a Voyager 19 Movie, but you star in it, and it uses the audio from your play through. It would be so funny. Seeing you just sipping your drink while hooked up to life support in a cramped space, trying not to die
“So what do I do? Just let it kill me?”
As you couldn’t just run away
"So I don't want to run into the sun. That would be a mistake." One might say things could get a bit... heated
The sound from around 8:13 sounded almost identical to the sound of Ganymede, it's completely normal. But, I agree, it's creepy as hell.
26:31 me seeing a dog looking at him like ayo whacha doing huh?😅
"that planet is wrong"
No shit, what do you thinking?
I really like how realistic the sounds of the planets are, it sounds a lot like real planets, wish I could play this, also it’s great how all the stars are different colors, not just yellow or orange, btw about that blue star, I’m pretty sure blue is the hottest color of a star, the attention to detail is amazing
"that's a heart beat..."
Famous last words
Ngl, the moment the machine shook at 38:36 , i got REALLY FUCK|NG SCARED
27:02 the second sun looks like it has a face in the map thanks to the color burn
Imagine a space game with no mood setting or music or unrealistic settings and sound effects. Just the horrors of space. It could still have aliens or have you stranded in space but it’s just as the situation would be. The horror of quiet. The horror of loneliness. The horror of not knowing when something bad will happen
When you see the earth is called fake earth and you can stay just go run and don't be died 40:12
16:06 he started crying because of how scared he was ☠️ also tip if you play it again if the lines turn purple that means you are about to run into a meteorite
Here is a terrifying theory:
Since there is a trillions of galaxies and more, there is actually a good chance that there is a living planet that eats stuff like the one shown here
Yuh
I love how he does a thousand yard stare and said, “that’s a heartbeat.”
