The best part is that all these shawls are made locally including the raw materials. So, these shawls are 100% local products of Uttarakhand. Do not miss a trip to the kausani Shawl factory whenever you visit this town in Almora district of Uttarakhand. The speciality of these shawls is that they are made of Angora Rabbit wool which is very light and warm. The range is quite huge. You can get shawls starting from INR 300 to INR 10,0000.

Very good and educative. We Indians should always promote local handicrafts. But sad story is that most factories have resorted to power looms instead of handlooms to increase their productivity. we buyers should always demand for handloom products to help the small scale industries.

In dwarhat our guruji's ashram i.e yogoda satsanga society of india is there.cover the mahaavtar babaji cave trek also , babaji the greatest Saint still alive whose age is more thosands years. Cover superstar rajnikant small house beside yogoda ashram dwarhat who is a disciple of our guruji and also cover dunagiri temple.
I suggest you take a ride to baijnath temple. .u will love it....45 mins from kausani
