Thank you so much for this beautiful montage of photos of one of my favorite actresses, Giulietta Masina! There was no one else who captured the screen like her and her impish, expressive, poignant face and eyes! Those eyes! I was hooked from the first time I watched La Stada....It's so sad she is gone. :'(
What makes me sad is that to be bautiful makes a HUGE different in the heart of people. It looks like that the most loved Italian a ctress is Monica Bellucci and nobody even know, Anna Magnani or Giulietta Masina. Also, I wonder if people can barly understand how great make up and fantastic cloths can cange a person.
you can't blame on this generation if they know Monica Bellucci better than Anna Magnani and Giulietta Masina because both Anna and Giulietta are from a completely different generation they were such great actresses but they belong to the 50's & 60's while Monica belong to the 90's and early 00's you need to be a lover of classic and old Cinema to know them and few nowadays get concerned with the past.
