If I were the dev I'll make this into a full game
giving full support of the development like what happened with Viking Conquest, that mod was epic for old engine like Warband
Making a mod and a game from scratch isn't the same at all
yea thats cute but not gonna happen, they'll atleast need the engine atleast and TW have only ever sold the old warband engine for people to play with, so unless they do the same with bannerlord the modder will have to make his own engine or end up with something simple like top view pixel strategy or something like that.
Just like with the car, ENGINE is the most important part. And mod is using engine that is already existing. Creating mod =/= creating game.

Finally! An update about shokuho. I bought the game months ago because of this mod.
Not one of the highly anticipated conversion mods have been released yet, how much longer the game is dying.

It’s not the responsibility of the modders to keep the game alive. Besides, most people who care about the mods follow them even when not playing bannerlord and will come back to it once the mods are out. The best of mods like Anomaly for Stalker or Third age for Medieval 2 can take up to 10 years to complete
There are already some great mods for the game. I‘m currently rotating between the base game, the Game of Thrones mod and Eagle Rising mod. There‘s so much possible already with these mods. Wouldn‘t say the game is dying
Interesting how most gamers move on from a game that hardly got anymore content so I doubt that any mods will save bannerlord

I've been waiting for this, but I'll be patient.
Anyway, I hope for 2 things:
1) this mod actually gets done in reasonable timing and decent quality (and doesn`t end up abbandoned somewhere in the middle of development);
2) "Japanese" assassin`s creed and "Shogun" series gain some considerable success, attract more people to Japanese esthetics and therefore do a nice marketing to this mod. So it actually gets all the attention it (hopefully) deserves.
The clan that starts with I and have monks in Shogun 2 is Uesugi Clan.. the fierce rival of Takeda Clan.
Cant wait to play this after Star Citizen releases

Hopefully in the navel side of things you can "pick up" your fleet and move it like how the ai will likely do, one of the few gripes i had with Viking Conquest was how you have to have like 2 seperate fleet in different ports just to travel without going the around the entire map.. its also immersion breaking as hell as you need to have your fleet be in that particular port near you if you want to run away from the enemy or whatever, meanwhile their ships just magically come into existence the moment they touch water.

I was wathcing your 100mods playthrough rise of dong. And while i was watching it i thought it seemed fun, and i wanted to try it, but when i cant seem to find the mod list. (And btw i got bannerlord recently and i dont know how to install mods)
It'd be great to see a release sometime in the next year or so. Hopefully the game will still be alive when it does come out at least.

Real bannerlord OGs know that everything bannerlord you gotta be patient no reason hyping yourself up thinking theses mods gonna pop out fast, just enjoy the trailers😌

nah, they`re still silent. Although they warned us that they are not going to share a lot about the procces of development, and asked eventual fans just to be patient... for some years.

I can already do a lot of this stuff in bannerlord and i've got that many new kingdoms and minor clans, that there is always someone i can find to fight which wont launch me into a 5 year war with an entire kingdom
The only way my bannerlord could be better is if hideouts where bandits that have taken over a small fort and hideouts are just mini sieges instead of more running around hunting, than actually fighting

The problem with bannerlord is they have tons of mods that don’t work with each other due to updates and hotfixes. Can’t even play with mods with the amount of crashes.
Its a little hard to keep watching these mod showcases for so many years. It’s even worse when it comes to Beyond Skyrim.

Does anyone know if they will change the NPC models to make them look more Asian? It would be a little weird to see Japanese people with European features xD

Honestly modders like this should just go make their own game at this point. The amount of time, work, and passion being put into this for little to no monetary reward sucks. They deserve to be paid for the work they are putting in. I keep saying it, shame on taleworlds for how they have left bannerlord.
I know what you mean, but modders do rely a lot on having an established base game. There are many parts of game development that they don’t have to do. Yes they can learn it, but it would be way more complicated starting to build their own game. For example, the modders of this mod use the established animations and game systems. The things they work on is programming new missions and adding new textures mostly. These things are a lot of work. There‘s really a lot to programming a whole game.
But one way to give them the monetary reward would be the game companies hiring them and releasing the mods as some sort of DLC. The main company would receive more money and the modders would also get a reward. It‘s a win win situation. And modders would also be faster as they would have access to the knowledge of the game developers

Bannerlord has the most potential for any game but has so little energy put into it by devs to the point to where mods make a way more interesting version than the devs do. Typical video game developers only care about a cheap buck anymoee
Honestly, duels in Bannerlord are completely useless. As an actual HEMA fighter I can`t even describe, how deeply Bannerlord`s foot combat sucks (in comparison to the actual foot combat)! And it`s alright, since Bannerlord is mostly about army vs army combat. But adding duels to this shit?!
By the way, considering the absolute absense of shields in this mod, I think that ranged weapons will be absolutely decisive on the battlefield!

@@r.speirs I do HEMA in Bologna, Italy. It's based on "Fiore dei liberi" (Flos duellatorum).
But since our trainers are national champions, we learn more pratical stuff from actual tournaments, than theorical one. Sport goes first, historycal studies second.
@@CrazyCriceto I too study the Italian masters (mostly Fiore) and try to make it to as many events as possible in NA. Does your group delve into the entire system or just certain parts of Fiore’s works? I love picking fellow practitioners brains.
@@r.speirs I`m afraid that Fiore is not exactly what you need, if you want to win in HEMA tournaments. So far I had a clear impression that a lot of Fiore`s techniques are good for armored combat. Like all the clinch stuff.
But in HEMA you have to close in fast, strike from far and exit. Some of Fiore`s stuff is good for it, but _only_ some. And we also have to add some "modern" moves, based on our actual experience. Or some moves from other sources.
Then we also study sword & shield, sword & buckler, rapier & dagger. All of which Fiore doesn`t cover. Honestly, I forgot to ask which sources we use in these cases. But I can do it, if you curious.
@@r.speirs from another hand Fiore does cover combat styles with:
1) dagger (and grappling)
2) spear
3) poleaxe.
But we don`t study all of them, since polaxe is way too dangerous (even in armor!) and other two... I don`t know, people just don`t ever pick them. Everybody is just too attached to swords, I guess.
We're at a point now where modders give more potential to this game than the actual devs of it
