Oh my gosh, this is one of the most amazing songs ever (in my opinion) It's so sad and musically it's not the normal she/he-loved-me-but-still-had-to-leave-me cliche sad song. The upbeat tempo just makes the lyrics all the more obvious. Amazing and beautiful
Saw these guys last year at The Myth in Minnesota. They are unbelievable! I had never heard their music and went with my brother. Now, I cannot stop listening. Great lyrics, great music, AWESOME band!!
Becoming a fan of Motion City Soundtrack has honestly lead to me becoming a better person. They are basically the reason I am a worthwhile human being. If that doesn't make me [and them for that matter] "clear in the eyes of God" [you didn't even capitalize His name btw] then I'm really not sure what will.
Motion City is the most authentic, awesome, and musically talented group I've heard. Sure, there are great groups like the Foo Fighters and Foster the People, but these guys are seriously the best.
I know a lot of people aren't as pumped for warped tour this year because the majority right now is smaller bands.. honestly i am most excited for these small bands! they're all so good! motion city soundtrack is dope! and if you like them you'll love as it is! their new single dropped today and ahh y'all should check it out because it has me so hype for warped tour
Just saw them live in Missoula, MT with Now Now and Jukebox the Ghost. (I got in trouble for photobombing a pic with the singer from the latter XD) This is definitely my favorite song. I gotta say, I love how unique their music videos are. I know they won't see this but... You guys rock. Keep going and maybe someday people will realize the crap that's popular these days is nothing compared to your works of art.
How weird is it that I've listened to this band for years, but this is the first time I could ever remember seeing a picture/video of them? I love them so much, it's nice to put a face to a voice. :)
Clever, meaningful songwriting, catchier than mass produced pop, versatility of sound - why these guys don't top charts is a mystery to me. Don't let the faux punk sound fool you; these are true blue musicians in a time of Beibers and Gagas. Long live Motion City Soundtrack.
Those that understand good music and lyrical genius can find bands like MCS and appreciate them for what they are. Don't let Big Media decide what is and isn't good music. This shit is good music.
The bass guy person is my art teacher's nephew and she showed us the band in class, I thought it was horrible. But some how I'm starting to like it, kinda sad that my annoying art teacher got me to like her nephew's band...
That's amazing. Matt Taylor and Justin Pierre are my favorites, but Matt Taylor I can't help it is my favorite. I wish I could meet him! Your lucky, though!
Motion City Soundtrack Rules!!!!!!! Ihope they go here in the philippines..... I would give all my money just to see them perform here at the phlippines...
Oh yes. I have now found myself more in love with Phantom Planet. I liked them before but now I'm in love. I they are almost my favorite band. It's crazy!!!
Omg yes! I can't believe others remember that and first heard this there. I've loved this song for eleven years now (Jesus...) and it's because of that ad. I remember they put the name of the band and song on the bottom of the screen too. Nostalgic for me, and I always see clips from that ad in my head when I hear it. It's on here too actually. (9/20/18)
Man... nostalgia. When I was younger (at least 5 years ago) I was never interested in listening to music... until I heard MCS for the first time. First song I ever heard from them was Everything is Alright, and fell in love instantly.
His voice really cleaned up in this song. I like it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy his voice in most songs, but this time it was pretty smooth. Pretty nice.
love this band, and just now i saw that trailer of 17 again. and this song was on it. Awesome for MCS. lol. But i want to see the movie too, seems good (yy).
hey!! l0l. i was there too!! i freakin loved them. and everyone else at the panic concert. i met justin. he was there after the concert. i was staying after to eat. and he just walked by. i got a pic with him and everything. it was awesome! :DD

His voice isn't tweaked :)
I've see them twice.

Exactly! Ive seen them 9 times and no justins voice is who he is ❤
Oh my gosh, this is one of the most amazing songs ever (in my opinion) It's so sad and musically it's not the normal she/he-loved-me-but-still-had-to-leave-me cliche sad song. The upbeat tempo just makes the lyrics all the more obvious. Amazing and beautiful
Shameless love for this band
Randomly though of them this afternoon.
I'm glad I did.
-thinking of a place to shoot a music video
-gets call
"Niko its your cousin, why dont you take me bowling??"
Haven't heard this song in forever, still singing it word for word. I love these guys!!
Saw these guys last year at The Myth in Minnesota. They are unbelievable! I had never heard their music and went with my brother. Now, I cannot stop listening. Great lyrics, great music, AWESOME band!!
this is the most "real" band I've listened to. They're absolutely perfect.
良い声‼︎‼︎‼︎今でも好きだー😍❤️❤️❤️

I never get tired of hearing it.
Same dude
Same
They absolutely rock live! I saw them two years and they totally rocked First Ave!
Ive got two of their albums "I am the Movie" and "even if it kills me" and i still love them
Becoming a fan of Motion City Soundtrack has honestly lead to me becoming a better person. They are basically the reason I am a worthwhile human being. If that doesn't make me [and them for that matter] "clear in the eyes of God" [you didn't even capitalize His name btw] then I'm really not sure what will.
This song is so great ♥
im 17 and iv been liking this band since i was 14. time sure flys
What about now!
Motion City is the most authentic, awesome, and musically talented group I've heard. Sure, there are great groups like the Foo Fighters and Foster the People, but these guys are seriously the best.
Saw these guys live a while back... changed my life.
They're doing a reunion tour!!!!
I know a lot of people aren't as pumped for warped tour this year because the majority right now is smaller bands.. honestly i am most excited for these small bands! they're all so good! motion city soundtrack is dope! and if you like them you'll love as it is! their new single dropped today and ahh y'all should check it out because it has me so hype for warped tour
my dad's band almost got into in the warped tour but they cheated him out and didn't let him in
I love this band, the drumming in their first three albums is incredible
+Matt Bard Yes! Clean, creative, and endlessly conducive to furthering the music at hand - 10/10.
The nostalgic feels 😊 🎶
they're indeed great
I used to listen to this song walking to and from school high school every day in 2007, daydreaming. Some of my fondest memories.
Miss these guys so much. 2020 reunion!
"this is the best thing that I've ever had, for real"
This is the first Motion City Soundtrack song I've ever heard...
I love it.
17 again brought me here *slowpoke*
Best song ever
hope to see them in Toronto
it's been a decade and a half and I still have no earthly idea how Justin's voice does what it does in the first 2 lines of the 2nd chorus
How weird is it that I've listened to this band for years, but this is the first time I could ever remember seeing a picture/video of them? I love them so much, it's nice to put a face to a voice. :)

This song reminds me of Just What I Needed by The Cars.
same producer I'm p sure
well the producer was the lead singer of The Cars
I saw them way back during the Honda Civic Tour alongside Panic! at the Disco.. best concert ever.
What year was that?
The bass guy person is my art teacher's nephew and she showed us the band in class, I thought it was horrible. But some how I'm starting to like it, kinda sad that my annoying art teacher got me to like her nephew's band...
BetaBiscuit it's not horrible, this is great to me! Haha
They are like in their 40's now =w=
They've been playing since 97 and even were popular for a while there.
the bass guitarist is my cousin
your art teacher is probably my aunt
