Sejeong said this song is about finding herself, and she was inspired after hearing a phrase about "a whale struggling to breathe beneath the waters".
Honestly Sejeong has gone through so much after her peak at her debut, and this song seems to reflect how she may not feel as confident/successful as she once was, and that she is wondering if she can find her bright self again after this darkness fades. And if thats so i wish sejeong will know that it was never because of her that she can't find the stars in the sky, but that stars just appear and disappear all the time. Just as how she never stopped working hard, I believe she will catch sight of the star-filled night sky once again in future.
And of course no matter how few stars there are, there will be some that stay put beside her all the way. So I hope she wont be struggling to breathe underwater anymore, and learn that she is doing well, wherever she is :') 세정아 너무 잘했어요! 노래 해줘서 고마워요!

This beautiful song has been written and composed by Sejeong herself! She has gone through a lot from debut in 2016, and she has composed many songs in her previous album. Unfortunately, she has not had a win for her any of self composed song despite the huge amount of recognition it has gained (company set Plant as her title track…)
Sejeong has said in an interview (Singles Korea) that her goal for 2020 is to win 1st with her self-composed song, so here is our chance to do something for our precious cinnamon roll!!
