I typically adjust typography size based on a simple formula: if the font size is 16, I multiply it by 1.333, resulting in approximately 21.328, which I round to 21. Alternatively, I utilize an auto option, increasing it by 4 points. For instance, if your line height is 21, I would adjust it to 24.
Having frameworks to make design decision makes designing more predictable, verifiable and consistent. Adding speed to overall process. Even when you start with wrong frameworks to make design decisions, you will eventually discover the right frameworks by applying and iterating over and over again, the key is to be decisive. Great video, very helpful.
This whole idea of 1.5 line Height have took me into many arguments with designers who became designer by degree not by experience. They seriously follow 1.5 for everything, just everything. Every fonts are different so for every fonts the line height rule cannot be same.
