Jerome C. W. Halverson living in Crookston, Minnesota. I listened to this past Sunday's sermon The Expansion Of The Work Of God. A very excellent sermon as always. You said you were raised Catholis. I was raised both Lutheran and Catholic. On the Catholic side, in my whole life I never worship Mary (the Virgin Mary), In my whole life I never worship Mary. The Bible reads that we should not pray to anyone except God, and Virgin Mary counts one person among anyone. I also in my whole life never believed in purgatory because that is not mentioned in the Bible. If I still am a Catholic, that most likely these two things would be what I disbelieve is purgatory and praying to Mary. It was the Life cereal commercial that had the three boys including Mikey. "Give it to Mikey" " He won't eat it, he doesn't like anything - He likes it! He likes it!" I remember this commercial back from the early 1970's. That was a commercial for Life Commercial. The beginning of the sermon- The parable of the Mustard Seed. Mustard! I really like mustard! I put mustard on baked potatoes, hash brown and I even put mustard on French fries. I like the taste of potatoes with mustard, taste real good to me. I also put mustard on steak and beef. I really like mustard! Have a great day.
Thank you ❤
great teaching yet again.
May god inspire and help us to expand the kingdom while we still can.
😊
