Detrucci: No worries for picking a song yourself. It is your channel and although some might be here just for Babymetal, most are likely here because you are doing great reaction videos. And putting your own choice in helps keep the channel in tune with you.
I discovered Babymetal not too long before the Karate MV was released (early 2016?). And I have watched a lot of reactors since. Some really good (and one whose channel I blocked from my recommendations). You are top-notch, mostly for being genuine and just letting out your enthusiasm when you like a thing. And in your commentary you have called out a few things I hadn't noticed even having seen the original video multiple times. And a bunch of "you saw/heard that, too!?!"
I already know Nightwish and have started to catch up on your reactions to them. So much fun to watch/listen along with you. So...

in Metal world and J-Pop world Babymetal is the only one doing something like this , Babymetal fans is the most diversity crowd in Metal world and J-Pop world. BABYMETAL is part of the fans , the Fans is part of BABYMETAL and in the end WE ARE BABYMETAL.
Well, the idea came from X-Japan actually: "we are X !" :-)
But a song for the fans, I don't know if they have that though...
"We are The One...." Great reaction. This was the Japanese domestic album version, half and half English / Japanese. On the international release it was all in English and whenever they play it live they do the full English version. Actually there are about 4 versions - this one, the full English, the 'unfinished' (acoustic) version and the one they do now which is first half 'unfinished' and second half full English.
This was their way of showing their gratitude to the foreign fans they had seen singing along in Japanese - they challenged themselves to learn and to sing a whole song in English.
'The One' was originally written as part of a longer song, but the two songs were split into two, the other being 'Tales of the Destinies'. That has been played live only one time and it led into 'The One' (full English version with extended "lalalala" at the end) - this was the finale of the first night at Tokyo Dome (two 55,000 sell out concerts). A reaction to both songs together would be so good (and you won't believe what you're hearing with 'Tales of the Destinies') However, it isn't on UA-cam and the only way you'll be able to do it would be using link & sync to not be blocked or get a copyright strike. It would be so worth it though - this is 19 minutes of pure magic.

I'm loving your reactions, can't wait for link & sync Tales of the Destinies at the Tokyo Dome, it's a hell of a song! And The One which flows from it afterwards is the all-English version. This is a mini-epic, so be prepared for a slow atmospheric intro, and relax into it before ToTD kicks off, then there's an extended end sequence for the fans because it's the concert closer for that night. You'll get another representation of the meaning of The One from this staging of the song.
They have choreographed versions too, because that is BABYMETAL!
BABYMETAL has multiple versions and performances of the majority of their songs, and each it worth its own reaction.

How's that for an epic love letter to your fans ? Not too shabby huh ? Not gonna lie sometimes I cry when listening/watching The One... They make you feel part of something, part of their journey. We are The One, always on your side, forever. We are BABYMETAL : the girls, the band, the fans and everyone involved in this magnificent band.
It's not often bands give love letters to their fans. Truly a special song
The reason for them doing this is English was that they were so moved by their international fans learning Japanese to be able to sing along and understand the lyrics, that they wanted to give something back. Isn't that a nice gesture?
This video always gives me great sense of happiness and pride of what the girls have achieved at their young age. It must be awesome to float above that sea of thousands of loving fans, and it's highly deserved!
You are absolutely right about being careful with some of the videos like "Sis. Anger". It's perfectly reasonable to do the safer ones first, after that you can think about using Link&Sync for the remaining ones.
BTW, the presentation of this song following another song called "Tales of the Destinies" (a very proggy song à la Dream Theater) at Tokyo Dome was phenomenal. Unless you'd like to do a reaction at some point in the future (which would have to be Link&Sync, too), please watch this. And bring some tissues:

Even though this song has the most English, this is also the one official music video with subtitles.
From what she said after the performance, the hardest part for Moa wasn't the height, it was to stick to the choreography when she wanted to wave to the people in the crowd below. : )
This is a combination of footage from both nights at Yokohama Arena in December 2015, the final dates of the 2015 BABYMETAL World Tour.
The video has the audio from the domestic (Japanese) release of the Metal Resistance album.
The international release of the album has an entirely English version.
Every other live version of this song that I've seen is entirely in English, even when it's performed in Japan.
I will have a listen to the English version.

This is another one of those things about my journey with Babymetal... the first time I heard this song I was like "yeah, it's a great ballad-ish, but I'm more into the faster and heavier stuff" ... but then the whole song, the words seem to embrace you inside The One and then every time I listen to this it's like a hymn to Us, The One. ...and of course, this video, this Babymetal flight over the crowd it's mind-blowing. I'm a very lucky One for stumbling upon Babymetal a few years ago...

Yeah it's definitely different from all the others I have heard 🙂 the vocals and the message do stand out much more on this song because of that though. So it is a job well done by everyone at the band
Being part of something special thats what being a fan of BabyMetal means to me .not having arguments with fellow fans in the comments if someone gets a bit of info wrong someone will nicely in non condensing way correct you or give info about concerts tours or anything in the BabyMetal world! ( Galaxy now) this has being my experience on youtube and Twitter and other fan platforms. I really enjoyed your reaction especial as you realised why we keep saying Welcome to the One .🤘😃🤘

The way to avoid videos getting blocked is to use the Link & Sync method. Just don't include any of the original video or audio in your reaction, provide the link, count us in and we'll press play at the same time as you. If you want to watch the best versions of their songs there is no other way to do it without getting blocked. You can use reactor hub to make viewing it on a mobile easier

You can do some tests if you like, but really it works wonders and not only does it make you watch the best performances possible, you don't need to pause and the best thing about it ? You get to keep all of the revenue. They can't copyright claim your video since you don't show any clip of it yourself, it's just you talking :).

Man, I just love this song so bad, and the video too. Ngl, everytime I watch this it makes me tear up. I just get so emotional man. YES! One of my favourites cuz its like a hymn, comparable to Kiss' God gave Rock and Roll to you. Love Su's voice and that awesome harmonic guitar solo. Goosebump time! And in addition it shows that they not only function with hard metal.

I enjoy the Bands large productions. Between the sets, costumes, and choreography, its all very much like musical theater.

Beautiful anthem❤ this is from Yokohama show 2015 and i think it's more like a unfinished version of the song because they mixing english and japanese... From 2016 until now they start using full english version of this song... So you can check the english version if you want...

There is a full english version of "The One", I don't like it as much though, the lyrics are a bit off and don't make a ton of sense, not that the Japanese one makes perfect sense or anything, but it's easier to kind of get the meaning.

Moametal has said in connection to her not looking at her fans - she was scared to cry at them
Combine this track, Distortion and Starlight, and maybe Arkadia and Shine :D And overall that gives a beefier broader understanding the band without the various acting and stuff, not that any of it is a bad thing :P
The stage set of this show was kind of tribute to Iron Maiden's World Slavery Tour.
