I'm in awe. I don't know how you can still talk/teach and still do those drills so gracefully, with that pace, intensity, and endurance!
You move like a cheetah, body and legs going crazy, but head moving level and evenly!
Thanks for these well refined footwork skills for us to learn, in our journey hopefully to the next level.

Love the drills. I’m exhausted just watching you. I have a one-handed backhand. How does the hop work? Does this mean I will be in a more open stance? Thanks for the hard work!

The footwork patterns are identical for 1h and 2h backhands!

@@GrantVanderHayden Are you sure? Seems to me the 1HB needs shoulder rotation first then hips and whereas 2HB can be simultaneous at least in the pivoting movement

very nice video, thanks! i was told that on the backhand side you pivot a little moment after hitting the ball, not at the same time, which would lead to a lot of mishits. this late pivot can be seen very good at djokovich

Would it be the same on the backhand for a 1 handed backhand? Swinging the back foot to the side after the stroke? It makes sense for a 2 handed backhand, but awkward for a 1 handed backhand since I’m usually sideways after i hit a 1 handed backhand.

The three moves (pivot, hop, and transfe)r seem to be three choices for how to move to a ball. How do you decide which to use?

Great video. I'm transitioning to pickleball and I would love a similar video specifically for pickleball. I have yet to see any pickleball videos that have the depth of your videos. Providing a solid technique and movement analysis to cover half the court while at the pickle line would be incredible. The pickleball court is much smaller making the physical side much more obtainable. Thanks again.
