Love it! It’s been a good 2024 so far, my portfolio just surpassed ~$700K. I am surfing the AI wave into the next few decades, and tech stocks seems to be making good profits. I am just about to pay off my house with my 38 months portfolio that began with 85k.
62% of my money is in Nvidia, would you recommend I sell some to diversify?
Sure, maybe putting 20% in a small cap ETF. Tom lee thinks small caps will outperform when the Fed cut rates. He’s predicting up to 50% gain this year.
It’s good to have a nice balanced portfolio. Buy things you understand, take some risk but don’t try to shoot the lights out. I think it’s best you consider financial advisory for proper asset allocation and informed investment decisions.
Great advice. But the problem is, most FAs only take VIP clients which makes it even harder for prospective investors. I am not sure if you’d be comfortable giving a referral, but I really could use some guidance

Another great video, thanks! I think the market is over-heated. And I am concerned that people are focusing less on fundamentals and just chanting the mantra of dollar cost averaging and driving the market higher without considering fundamentals. It is a catch-22 for me. I mean I like stock prices going higher but I also hate buying over-priced stocks and ETFs. Personally, I have stopped buying growth ETFs- they are ridiculously over-valued. Dividend stocks and ETFs are a little better but they are still over-valued. There is some hope with small and mid caps. I am not sure they are undervalued but at least they are less over-valued..This pattern offers a valuable insight for strategic planning. Despite these trends, i have delve deeply into active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape

Been beating myself up a bit that I sold my 53 shares of NVDA at $374 each back in May 2023 and now it is at over $1,100. Now thinking of liquidating a few other investments to rebuy but afraid to do so. I also currently have 500k in savings making me next to nothing.

Try slowly diversifying your investments over time tends to yield better returns than doing it in a single instance, buy and hold. buy 10% then when in profit add more, or just buy on a dip and hold. NVDA is not going down soon

what is her background? Has she ever worked in technology? If you have never been in the trenches then how would you know where the industry is going. Her mistake on NVDA is so glaring that I dont think she can recover from that

How about this - what real discriminator will Tesla have for autonomous taxis. Nvidia is already leveling their lead. To be 2600 Tesla would have to be the only autonomous vehicle out there. This is obvious. Kathy is a scam!

@venal7 I agree 100% with you. ARK is ridiculous in their theory. Elon propaganda pushers at ARK. Elon is about to take that $56B out of Tesla and dip out. He bought those chips from NVDA with Tesla's money but having them delivered to X (twitter). He said he didn't have room in his 7mile long Tesla facility lololol. For anyone to believe in just 4 1/2 years that RoboTaxi's will be developed, safety approved, public accepted and profitable is crazy. They are throwing every distraction they can to get retail investors off of NVDA. These Anti Trust lawsuits and more are coming to scare retail into selling their shares so they can gobble them up and hold them. Retail was never meant to be part of this wealth transfer. They will be throwing all kinds of distractions to persuade you to throw your investment money at losers in hopes you're greedy with these $2900 price targets on Tesla lolololol. Elon is going to drain Tesla and move on.

Additionally, quoting Cathie Woods should be considered dubious and you link her insane quotes to Nvidia's future. Which immediately is suspect in my mind. Why not just make the point that Nvidia could be a huge player RoboTaxi market, regardless if it is Tesla or another company. I think that is fair. Ark is constantly in sell mode which everyone should be concerned about. Additionally, aren't warehouse Bots considered robots? That is a general question. I see that inflection point happening in about 3-4 years. The question is which company will lead that?

The $800 Billion market cap valuation for Broadcom doesn't make any sense for the $51 Billion annual revenue (including A.I revenue) Broadcom currently projects for 2024. It's all euphoria and riding the A.I. wave. It's better to count on NVDA as they at least have the real A.I. GPUs in business. Take for example - Oracle has $60 Billion annual revenue and their market cap is only $300 Billion. Another example - Cisco has $52 Billion annual revenue and their market cap is only $180 Billion. Stay away from entering at these euphoric high valuations. It can take few years for these kind of stocks like AVGO to recover once they crash. Look at Cisco for example in the Dotcom bust. It went from $82 to $8 and took 20 years to recover.
That's it, I will sell everything, my car, my house, everything else and invest in NVDA, AVGO and TSM!

I sold several stocks copied from Cathy wood’s portfolio such U, Path, twlo etc at a loss of 50k, put the leftover to NVDA after the split is announced , I am already gained 15k back…. This account has been like dead for a long time, popped up a bit only to go back down…. I was planning to hold it for another 10 years for it to recover because the losses was too much ….thank god, NVDA made me decided to cut the losses and move forward..

I read that Nvidia provides tech for crypto mining services/blockchain transactions. Could the current crypto pump be attributed to Nvidia’s great earnings and should I hold some crypto as well, cos tbh I’m having FOMO with the current crypto price at 64k.
It’s going to be a wild year for these sectors, so you should def. invest in crypto. 60% of my portfolio is spread across tech stocks, crypto and Crypto/Gold ETFs.
@@EdmundEthan093 well the crypto market is expected to do way better than any other equity sectors this 2024 especially with the SEC crypto ETF approval but it’s a volatile market nevertheless and if you’re new to it, it’s best to reach out to an experienced adviser for proper guidance.
@@roxdietren Yes, my asset manager advised I spread further into mutual funds and crypto Etf and boy am I glad I did. The whole idea is: Don’t get too greedy and also to exit at the right time, so generally I do find having an adviser very helpful, because what Avg. Joe really has time to watch and comprehensively analyse the market.
