As a South Park and RPG fan, The Fractured But Whole is definitely in my wheelhouse of walkthrough perfection. I've been a fan since the first episode back in the 90s, I remember going with my friends to see the movie, and laughing way too hard. South Park definitely inspires me, and after the last episode about the game, I'm definitely ready. Anyway, the Stick of Truth was great, so I have high expectations for this game. To be fair, they made it clear that the difficulty setting would not effect combat, only the amount of money you find and how some characters treat you. Still it's a very funny and very South Park thing to do.

This feels more like an episode of South Park.
If there was an award for the best difficulty selection slider - I would have given it to this game and close down that award. For the level of perfection showed here can not be beaten

knowing i'm a man and so my perception of colours will always be wrong , the two other bright pink options above the one he picked are in my mind way more in line with "brightest most neon pink"
Well since pink is the combination of red and white, finding a "dark pink" is a bit of an oxymoron in color theory. (HS art teacher so I have to discuss things like this quite often... Conversations can get quite colorful at times!)
Pink was once actually the boy color and blue was for girls. There was just one store that really pushed that pink was for girls until it was finally accepted.

What you would call bright, I would call light. Thus, those shades above were to me lighter, but not brighter.
Brightness of colour to me is more about its ability to draw attention rather than its shade - the ‘middle-est’ shades would therefore be generally brightest.

He also skipped every single basement, i kept wishing he realizes there's a door under the stairs in almost every house :P
Zaqnak the basments dont have yellow handles so you cant go in them so far only creg and cartmans had a gold one

you probably already know this, but the Blaster's 1st attack can hit from Melee Range and up to 2 spacea away. Human Kite does have an attacking move in the form of Eye Lasers

@Deetsitmeister - it's almost as if this is Jesse's job, a highly volatile job mind you, and he has to do what he can to ensure he doesn't fall off the face of youtube and get bankrupt.
But no, he should probably tailor his content to what YOU want - a guy who really doesn't do anything for Jesse other than offer a view on a video here or there.

When I saw that this game finally released I thought to myself "I don't really want to play that.....BUT, I REALLY wanna see Jesse Cox play this." And would you look at that. I watched the full play through of The Stick of Truth (and loved every second of it) and now it's time to take a ride with Jesse with The Fractured But Whole. Much hype!
Mistakenly read the title as 'whole walkthrough' and thought Jesse was speedrunning it.
Speedrunning something would be a worthless walktrough. A walkthrough is a complete guide to the game, from start to finish and exactly everything in between. Speedrunning usually means you miss huge portions of a game.

So delighted to see the return of South Park! Don’t forget to check the bottom of some of the second floors, there was a door or two missed. Still, so happy to watch this!
You're probably far enough into the game to know this now Jesse, but the bonus damage from the buttons, while nice, is dependent on a stat that you can build for. If you choose a different stat to invest in then the missing the button presses really doesn't matter that much.

Not for gameplay no. Combat has a separate difficulty selection. All skin actually affects gameplay wise is how much money you get. Which is completely pointless as money is needed pretty much never. Other than that NPCs might make a comment here or there about you being black...actually SPOILER BELOW
Morgan Freeman won't fight black characters, no matter how many times you hit him to try and initiate the fight. So you miss out on his boss fight, which is the ultimate challenge of the game...of course you can change your race anytime you want by talking to PC Principal so it's all relatively pointless and is just a joke.
Been watching someone who went the highest difficult, and it's interesting how it changes the game.. Your parents have the same skin tone, but keep the hair you see here(and it still fits fine! O_O). Also, everyone else has this disgusted or annoyed look toward you when you get close
Man I was so hyped for tyhis I was rewatching the stick of truth playthrough earlier this week. Cannot WAIT to see how this one unfolds. ;)

I'm more than an hour in, this game is more in depth than the first, and it is terrific.

Nitpicking but why does the title have "walkthrough" in it? That implies you would be showing people how to beat the game.
it's because gaming videos automatically get more views if the title has "walkthrough" in the title. Jesse gotta pay the bills somehow
Except that this is a south park video game. Right now video games are already getting hammered so even with the added "walkthrough" its not going to make a big difference in income generated.
As the other guy said, you get more views typically if you put walkthrough in the title and tags because people are looking for walkthroughs. However, if it's 2 hours long people aren't likely to click even if it's got the most views. The advantage Jesse has is that he has a big sub base already so he will automatically get more views on his walkthrough than, say, my channel that has 120 subs even if we have the same title and tags. So basically he's using his status as a big youtuber to secure more views and subs from this. I have had to research this sort of stuff quite a bit to be able to use it for my channel, haha.
I've been wondering this myself, it's the same on nearly all his videos. This is a playthrough. So what if it gets more views? It's false, it's a lie. This would be completely worthless if someone tried using it as a walkthrough. Putting "famous actress shows her xxxxx" in the title would also get him more views, but be equally misleading.

Jesse's LP of the first Southpark game led me to buying it....let's see if lightning strikes twice...also, awesome notification of this, can't wait to see how this goes...go Ginger Jesse!

This is one of those games I'd probably enjoy watching than playing. Your insight makes the game more amusing, and points out the connection to the episodes that I wouldn't otherwise get.

Ah Jesse Im so glad you started this game. I got Stick of Truth just after watching you play that back when it came out, and I really want to get this game too. I was reading bad reviews for it but they all seem to be based on day 1 dlc and poor optimisation? Watching this makes it look a whole lot of fun though
