it baffles me that so many trash artists are huge and Chris hasn't blown up. Matt , raw talent like his, is old school. What is being pushed today, is promo. They pump money into marketing and then sell tickets for minimum $500 a pop. It’s all commercialized and subliminal. My day, we went to concerts almost every weekend and they were $50 general admission. We had lots of fun and the bands were talented. Natural talent with nothing simulated. The bands practiced and committed hard work to be bang on. So Kris has this. He is old school and I hope he stays that and keeps doing what he feels inside. He will make it..

I know this will probably never find you Sir but if you ever record a cover of "Fire Away" by Chris Stapleton would you mind awfully dedicating it to my little girl "Belle", she passed away aged 10 a few weeks ago and your music is one of the very few ways I have discovered of venting and not self destructing through the immense pain. Fire Away was the first song I listened to after she passed so to me that will always be the song that holds her memory.
