Love the outfit!! I think there are a lot of defects partly because just adding more details means its easier for defects to appear. Collectors also tend to pay more attention to this stuff than non-collectors. But I don't own any RH dolls myself atm so I can't speak too much on the matter. As for the fashion diversity- hard agree! I'd love to see something decora or lolita inspired, I'd totally buy that. With them being an art school you'd expect a bit more variety in styles.
yeah on the defects, people really started to complain abt them when series 4 of RH dropped because out of all the RH and SH lines that have come out so far, they have the most amount of noticeable paint defects. part of the reason why i waited until i could find my Jewel Richie doll in my local walmart so I could look at them and get the one with the least amount of defects
Agreed on what Violet did. I know its a kids series, but what she did could cause a ripple effect and damage Bella's reputation and professional carreer as well and her chances of getting booked as a set designer after she graduates from rainbow high. Because what Violet posted went as viral as it did, no matter what Bella does, for a good while into the future, people are only gonna know her is "that girl that deliberately broke the rules and got expelled from rainbow high" and some ppl in her line of work she plans to go into may not want they productions associated with her because of that. Andf this happened in our world, something like that would take YEARS for people to forget and move on from. both regular ppl and people in Bella's line of work. Violet being the social media savvy person she is should've really thought about that before she posted it. or at least cut the live stream she was doing it through. cuz every digital media influencer that claims to be worth their salt knows that how you act and what you do on social media does not exist in a vaccum
Adding to the take of RH keeps reusing the same outfit piece and not diving into other styles like lolita and more punk. I am starting to get tired of all the female characters having long hair, like yes its fun to style and brush and play with but where are the short haired girlies and on that note where are the long haired boys?
2 expand on the diary thing you were talking about I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE 2 see there sketchbook/notebook that they use 4 school 2 come with a doll !! It would give the characters more personality and actually feel like a highschooler,, I don’t mind a full on diary either (I might like it a little more) but knowing rainbow high they like 2 cut there budget and time as much as they can lol
You do have to look closely at RH/SH dolls when you buy them, lots of flaws to beware of, especially if you are picky. That’s why people are always saying they are afraid to order online.
